While talking about his personal COVID experience, he said, “It was tough. Covid was the toughest thing I ever had to navigate in the history of this country. If you look at where we came from, that’s saying something. “ He added further, “My attitude was: this is America. We don’t quit. We don’t give up. We definitely don’t run and hide in our house itself. He asserted, “To just dump my employees the minute something bad happens, that’s not the way I am built.” He, empathetically, added, “I would rather see the whole company burn and go down in flames before I would hurt my employees.” Dana also stated that he paid everyone in the organization. Dana gave a detailed description of how they flew over with a private jet to the island and tested, again and again, multiple times until the event happened.
