Let's take a look at three of the biggest: PlayStation Vue, PlayStation Now, and PlayStation Plus. What Is PlayStation Vue
is Sony's internet TV service. It's aimed at those who want to cut the cord of traditional TV but still want access to what TV offers. PS Vue combines live TV, on-demand viewing options, and a DVR that lets you record hundreds of episodes of your favorite shows. The cheapest plan is Access, which costs $40/month. It includes local network channels and some cable stations like ESPN and the Disney Channel. More expensive plans include additional channels, of course. is a game-streaming service that allows you to play hundreds of PS4 and PS3 games on your PS4 and Windows PC. It requires at least an internet connection of at least 5 Mbps, and a DualShock 4 controller . PS Now costs $100/year or $20/month. It's a great way for PC players to access some of the PS4's best games, and for PS4 owners to catch up on great PS3 games they missed. What Is PlayStation Plus
is Sony's for PS4, PS3, and PS Vita users. On PS4, it's required to play games online. It also grants you access to two "free" games per month each on the PS4, PS3, and Vita. PS Plus members receive extra discounts during PlayStation Store sales, online store to back up game saves, and a few other extras like automatic software updates.
