I'm hoping that my pre-order arrives on Friday, but there's no guarantee. Jedi Fallen Order launching the same day helped this be possible. Midnight launches in the UK generally come as a result of big multiplatform games. I saw a green hat on the side and my mind went HEY LINK !! Wish I was close enough to my nearest Game shop to take apart. Never took part in these midnight launches because of the distance. :/ I used to go to midnight launches. Pokemon tends to have pretty big ones here in the city. Just staying home this time though and getting the game from Amazon, should be at the door by the time I wake up. digital never means at midnight. Not even at nicht. It's more like noon / afternoon. I used to enjoy going to a midnight launch at my local game but the nearest one to me on this list is Pontypridd and damn they suck. Not helpful and just can’t wait to get it over with. Apparently my preorder is being delivered tomorrow (14th) by GAME online. Pretty lucky as well considering I'm working Friday & Saturday.. would be missing the whole launch! My local GAME held a midnight launch for Sun/Moon. Was a pretty fun night! some people prefer to have physical copy of the game over digital download. Also if you were to resell your switch and you have all digital games, you can't exactly sell you Nintendo account along with the switch. So your are just selling a switch with no games. Are midnight releases not a common thing in the UK or something? Or maybe they just aren't popular anymore? I haven't kept up with them in recent years because I usually buy games online these days. They're rare for Nintendo releases. You get your usual CoD, FIFA and other big multiplatform releases having midnight launches along with some Sony exclusives (FFVII remake will probably get one for example).
