The plant will employ more than 200 workers. phoenix Casa Grande, which is located about an hour south of Phoenix , was already an attractive landing spot for manufacturers, suppliers and other industrial developers. As the region continues to grow in the electric vehicle and semiconductor industries — and as developable industrial land becomes increasingly expensive and scarce — more users are looking to Pinal County to locate. The Taiwanese company is building a 540,000-square-foot manufacturing and distribution facility on about 84 acres near the northwest corner of Clayton and Burris roads along the Union Pacific rail line. The facility will produce electronic-grade chemicals for Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co., which is Chang Chun already provides chemicals for TSMC in Taiwan, said Calvin Su, Chang Chun Arizona president, and the company is open to working with other potential customers in the U.S, but TSMC is the priority and the reason for it setting up shop in Pinal County.
