Star also opens up about "that" bathtub scene by Share: So, Netflix's Witcher series is now live, and while it has had some , the general reaction from viewers and fans appears to have been reasonably positive. Star Henry Cavill has been doing plenty of interviews to promote the series, and has revealed that he got to keep Geralt's amazing costume after filming had wrapped: I took it all (the costume) home. It's not so easy to put on, and it took two hours of hair and makeup every day, so that's just sitting at home looking cool. Cavill is, as we know, a huge fan of the fantasy series – having been introduced via – and the fact that he wanted to own the costume is understandable. However, he also revealed that he had a massive struggle with one element of the outfit: The leather trousers … we had our struggles with those. It wasn’t getting them off or on. The problem is, leather stretches, and because Geralt leaps around, they end up not looking so flattering after a while. We had to redesign the trousers throughout to make them more suited to the sort of athleticism Geralt carries out on a daily basis. But that's not all! Cavill also went into detail about how the was filmed, and how he had to dehydrate himself for days on end. You can view the interview , which features lots of bare chests (you have been warned). Rumours that he turned down a role in The Hobbit to work on Nintendo Life are, to the best of our knowledge, completely and utterly unfounded. Comments ) I don't care what people say, I am loving this show.
You just got to realise there a different timelines for different people. It's as simple as that. I had my reservations but my youngest son and I have watched three episodes so far and we are really enjoying it. I have to admit that it took a few episodes before I figured that out. I was confused as heck before I came to the different time lines conclusion.
Critically speaking though, there are quite a few things that could've been better in my opinion. Nevertheless, I enjoyed it enormously and I binge watched the entire season within a day. Good times One Witcher game on a Nintendo Switch and suddenly we need to know the actor on the live-action adaptation of the books got some pants. Thanks Nintendo Life. I hope that the reception from critics doesn't stop more episodes from coming out. I thought the show was awesome! Just finished Episode 4 and really enjoying it so far. I don’t see what’s confusing about it. You just have to pay attention. That isn’t a difficult task. I only new it was a video game. I just binged the series and loved it. It was fantasy goodness. It did need one more episode but I knit pick. Now, I want the game. The problem is I never liked the gameplay of Skyrim and I think the gameplay is kind of like that. Is it? It’s been brilliant so far. As somebody who’s read the books and played the games, I’m really happy at how they’ve adapted certain plot lines. The multiple timelines I think are necessary to have Ciri in the show at this point and will help the viewers emotionally connect with her before the timelines intersect. People's opinions > "critics" I loved it! So to look like that:
First day- 1.5 liters
Second day- 0,5 liter
Third day- No water/liquids.
Fourth day- Shoot the scene
Sorry but thats the worst torture in the world. Why anyone would have to endure this? He would look good full of liquids too After the Star Wars fiasco, I'm glad that at least The Witcher may bring balance to the force! Never played the games or read the books, though of course I've heard of Geralt. I eventually want to play the Witcher 3 and this actually has me a bit more interested. I really enjoyed the first 8 episodes, and can't wait for more. I've read that Hugh Jackman did the same thing for Wolverine shirtless scenes. Apparently he has almost passed out while being flexy and actiony from dehydration. I personally don't think actors should do this to themselves, but many have gone on unhealthy missions to lose or put on weight for certain roles or days of the week and the dehydration method is becoming more common for male actors. I have not played the game but I did watch some youtube gameplay. For what I noticed the only thing that is just like Skyrim is the open world map, battle mechanics are different, camera is third person instead of first person. You should watch some videos and decide whether to get it or not. I don;t like the battle system of Skyrim but I'm sure I'll enjoy Witcher 3 I had to go back to episode one to compare certain characters, because I was certain I had seen them before, and they died. I don't think it's confusing, it's just episode 4 or 5 when they finally merge that can be a bit confusing, but as long as you realise that one timeline was ahead of the others, it completely makes sense. I think how he looks in his trousers is vital. ? What does this have to do with Nintendo? To be fair, there's reviews out there tanking the show despite the reviewers admitting to not watching the entire series My family and I are loving the show!!! I have watched the series twice and now going back to play Witcher 3. What a Christmas present! I did watch some vids. They are different. The Witcher is more story driven. Skyrim just put me in the weeds. It made A.D.D.. I just don’t want to waste $60 like I did with Skyrim. Maybe I will read the Witcher books and hope for a sale. I'm pretty sure a lot of those people who don't understand the show really well and not a big fan of it, are prob the ppl who have never read the books and played the game. But anyways the show seems to be doing really well so far. Leave A Comment Hold on there, you need to to post a comment...
