Bay Area weather High winds low humidity expected this weekend The National Weather Service said conditions should remain below the threshold to call a red-flag warning. UPDATED:October 21, 2022 at 12:09 a.m.MONTEREY – Gusty winds and low relative humidity are expected this weekend as a cold front breezes through the Bay Area, according to the National Weather Service.A red-flag warning had not been issued as of Thursday night, the agency said in a briefing, noting that conditions were forecasted to remain just below the threshold to call one. “This will remain under continuous investigation,” the weather service said.During the first part of the weekend, a passing cold front will bring gusty onshore winds to the region, according to the agency. The winds will then veer to the north and northeast Sunday and Monday. Read more:
