After starting out the season with five straight losses, the Lakers finally snapped their streak with a hard-fought win over the Nikola Jokic-led Denver Nuggets. But their antics after the game got the fans irate and they took it out on LeBron James and crew. Each and every team had registered a win and the Lakers were yet to open their account. And this was on the back of their minds as the Lakers stepped on court with a pledge against the Nuggets. They never let the lead get out of sight and once they took the lead, they held on to it until the final whistle. They drenched Ham in water in celebration of their victory. Meanwhile, Anthony Davis, and the entire team hugged their coach and danced around in joy.

However, the NBA fans did not like the antics of the Lakers. They reminded them of their record and asked them to stop acting like they did something amazing. The Lakers came into this matchup as the underdogs. But they started off in the first quarter, with showing his class early. However, LeBron struggled in the first quarter and he missed some sitters. He seems to have adapted to his new role as this was his second game in a row coming off the bench. He was careful in his shot selection and was setting up his teammates for easy buckets. And the took the lead at the end of the first half. The second half started off slow for the Lakers as the started making their three-point shots. Just when the Nuggets looked to put the game to bed, the Lakers went on a massive run fueled by Lonnie Walker. And the Lakers held their nerve as they closed out the game to earn their first win of the season.
