Ninjala's Launch Filled With Error Codes, GungHo Apologises For Inconvenience Nintendo Life

The bubble burst by Share: Image: Yesterday, GungHo's free-to-play title was finally released on the Nintendo Switch. Despite multiple delays to - like a lot of other online games nowadays - this latest release simply couldn't handle the number of players swamping the servers and it resulted in a lot of error codes. One of the most common codes seemed to be Error#: G-3-99 (see above). The errors quickly turned into memes on social media - with some individuals going as far as , where players were unable to log in at launch due to server overload. The official Play Ninjala Twitter account ended up apologising to players. The following tweets were spread out over four hours, as network errors continued to cause issues. Notice: Access Failure We have confirmed that currently, network instability has resulted in difficulty connecting in some environments. We apologize to all Ninjala users for the inconvenience We have confirmed that currently, network instability has resulted in difficulty connecting in some environments. You will be able to play Story Pack and Training if you change your setting to Airplane Mode from the setting and launch the game. We apologize for the inconvenience. We have confirmed that an access error will occur when playing in Room Battle. Please avoid playing in Room Battle until we have notified players that issue has been fixed. We apologize for the inconvenience. Thank you for playing Ninjala. The access issue caused by the room battle has been resolved. We apologize for the inconvenience. To make up for this, and also celebrate the fact , every player will receive 100 Jala and 10 x Ippon Gum (Flame) Weapon skins. While the errors appear to have been resolved now, it's unfortunate the game started out like this and . Tell us in the comments about how your own experience was online yesterday. Comments ) They lock you out of playing as a team until you're level 5, which is a shame since I'm not into the battle royale stuff. Haven't battled yet. more times than not its works well enough for me thankfully. i hope they get these issue resolved soon, cause i can see a lot of potential and strategy in a game like this yeah i find it weird teams battles are locked in the beginning, its how i prefer to play this tbh. fighting against 7 other people makes it frustrating to do good, especially first starting off i disabled my characters crying animation when i lose, the crying audio loops and its annoying to hear on long load screens Good idea, I didn't even think to disable that. That would get old fast. "But it's free to play!" I thought that excused everything? yeah its a pain to listen too lol. i didnt really "disable" it but i just replaced the lose animation to the hand wave emote Prepare for Plan B, Gung Ho.
Make an Offline Play option so players can play against CPU when internet connection still trouble. They will probably survive this failed launch since the game is free. Tried it this morning and it seems the problems are resolved. Got into a few matches with no issues.
Seems like a fun little game, perfect for quick bouts! Only takes probably 30-40mins to get to level 5. Battle Royale at least helps to get to grips with the game a bit Network instability? That’s interesting, networks are unstable in general and you’re supposed to write code with this in mind (this is why offline app syncing is a thing used heavily these days). It’s also pretty easy to setup auto scaling and health checks to have your cluster self resolve. First delay because of covid, now network troubles. Interesting The game looks good...except for the issues and game mechanics that don’t. Too many flies on the cake for me to invest any time into this one I’m afraid Good game just one thing. who in the freaking world thought it would be a good idea to have one use only skins? get rid of it and make em skins i can use or maybe give me 10K of them I'm spending money here. And get rid of the rock/paper/scissors parry because my fight is up to chance, Good day and thanks for this great game. 9/10 I remember the days of Error 37. Honestly, looking back I had so many fond memories with Diablo 3. Kind of miss those simpler times. Good thing I haven't decided to download Ninjala then. So much for sticking the launch, eh, fellas? ...I'll leave now. The whole thing from beta testing to now has been dreadful it's fine now. Besides the game is free not like u have to buy it to play it I wonder if this is why the game is unavailable in a lot of EU countries... seems a bit strange to me It’s not even mentioned on Nintendo.nl I was scared away by the way the game rolls out all of it’s terms and policies. Then a YouTube video. Then errors. It just felt icky to me. I ended up deleting it before I ever got to the game. Wading through all of that crap reminded me that this game isn’t for me. Night of launch, I did get two rounds in, and a few errors. I'd figure it was just the launch rush filling up the servers. The morning after, I played four rounds and stayed connected and played fine the whole time. While they call the mode "battle royale," it's hardly a battle royale. It's more like an eight player deathmatch mode. When you lose, you just respawn and keep playing, rather than go back to the menu. I don’t get the Ippon battle at all? Can you explain that one to me? Long load times were the only downfall. Decent game. Micro transactions galore though. Kicks me off if I go to Home and says I might get a penalty. I'm just checking my friends list. I'm not bailing out. I was stuck in the lobby for nearly 15 minutes waiting for my first match. Once I finally got in I was unimpressed. The combat mechanics devolve into button mashing quickly. When several users are in the same area it is difficult to determine what is going on during a fight. I finished first in my (only) match, despite having little clue what was happening the entire time. That shouldn't happen. I know there are a lot of comparisons being made to Splatoon, but that would be a positive, given the actual gameplay. Unlike Splatoon, the matches drag on. I kept checking the clock and could not believe how much time was still left. There are also didn't seem to be the right number of players for the size of the board. I could easily hide out without worry of being attacked. Maybe I'll pick it up again at some point, but between the uninspired game play and terrible load times, I'll most likely pass. If you find out let me know as well! It was ZL, ZL, ZL...IPPON! What is that? Weirdly enough I had zero issues while playing yesterday.
I am glad that they already got 1M players. I had Issues With The Menus, my friends made a lobby and I could not move around the list. Also, I could only play one stage, when there are two on the list! the rock paper scissor mechanic is so dumb! It takes away the skill and makes it about more luck! But change that and give us a better map and this game is golden! When I did finally get in to play a game I quickly realized I actually preferred the error codes instead. I tried it, then deleted it. Like others said the combat just seemed broken, the explanation on how to play was lackluster, and the match I played was uninspiring. I can’t stand the bonus points after a game, I literally won a battle royal game with no kills, got all my points destroying those stationary drones, picking up energy and got the end match bot bonus. Lost a team battle we finished in first due to bonus points, the big drones are like 500 points or something crazy. Just not a fan of playing well against other players and losing because someone smashed more drones that don’t move or attack. Maybe I will get used to it. You get what you pay for..... As soon as I saw the disaster of a beta I knew this game was going to be dead on arrival I've had no issues, so far.

Yeah, the first beta did. I heard the second beta was smoother, though.
I believe most (if not all) online games have problems at launch, no matter how well the servers are done.
Mario Maker 2 does the same thing, except there's no penalty warning.

Basically IPPON is like hitting someone in Smash Ultimate when they have 1 stock left with high damage, while it's a 1 on 1 battle.
That's my guess, though.
Do you know when you guys will have the Ninjala review up?

Once you make a room, you have to press on Room Settings to change the stage. Anyone having issue with the friendlist ? I have a friend which ive added in Nintendo Switch ( hoping to play with me ) But in the game it says "No friends found". I have played a few matches and have had no issues with lag or being thrown out. Pretty good game. why does that always happen, servers break down on game release? why does that always happen, servers break down on a games release? we can even register on the game. when open the game after loading error code g-o-1426063360 displayed
