Bakugan: Champions Of Vestroia Gets A New Trailer Ahead Of Next Week's Launch Nintendo Life

Big anime creatures landing soon on Switch by Share: on A new trailer has dropped for the upcoming anime-style RPG . A joint project between Warner Bros. Games, Spin Master and developers WayForward, it's certainly looking like an energetic, beautifully animated adventure with a whole bunch of colourful monsters to battle and plenty of links to the anime series, too. Check it out above. If you're unfamiliar with the franchise, you may want to give a read, too. Suffice it to say Bakugan involves big creatures battling in style, and while we don't claim to be an authority on the franchise, 'big creatures battling in style' is the sort of thoroughly enjoyable nonsense we can get behind. The game also featured in the recent , which revealed the character Leonidas, returning following his appearance in on DS. Not au fait with ol' Leo? No, us neither — here are a few details about the menacing little chap along with a mugshot from the Direct: Leonidas is a Bakugan born directly within the Doom Dimension. He has an amazing yet unknown power and an intense anger toward other Bakugan. Only trust and friendship can help Leonidas escape his cursed birth and awaken his true power. We sat down for with the developers last month and were impressed with what we saw of this Switch-exclusive. Keep an eye out for our verdict soon and let us know your thoughts below. He lives in Spain (the plain-y bit where the rain mainly falls) and his love for Banjo-Kazooie borders on the unhealthy. Comments ) K cool Not my Dan Kuso Where's his hairstyle that made him look like the lovechild of Yami Yugi and Cloud Strife it's still in his heart So it's just a pokemon ripoff? Looks like it could be a fun online brawler once you have been able to grind out a decent team in the campaign. I mean SMT did it before Pokemon and you don't see me going around calling Pokemon SMT for kids Battles still look like crap...I'll just wait for Monster Hunter Stories 2. So by association (even though nobody copied anyone), Bakugan, a E-Rated game, is a rip-off of Shin Maguni Tensei (I definitely butchered that name), an M-Rated series!? "Beautifully animated" Maybe if modern Pokemon is the standard not really Meh. I prefer my RPGs and battle systems to emphasize strategy and give me full direct control over my party than running around an arena like a crazy man, picking up all of these glowy discs more than my opponent to win. Haha, every time I see this game, I just remember that direct where everyone was hyped to see the new WayForward project and they got... this. Ah c'mon! This darn specter of torment keeps coming back to remind me how WayForward's gone downhill. I still remember seeing the direct and thinking "Jeez, my expectations were low but holy carp!" Maybe we all need to know that this game are for different demographics. And the kids needs something to play as well as we adult/teens do. So no bad games or good games because it maybe someone else delight. bring me back old school bakugan games Leave A Comment Hold on there, you need to to post a comment...
