Puma Is Releasing A Pair Of NES-Themed Sneakers Just In Time For Christmas Nintendo Life

Ride to the Future by Share: Image: Puma Puma has been doing some neat sneaker collaborations of late, taking on both and his erstwhile rival , and now the sports brand is back with a pair of shoes which celebrate the iconic NES console. The "Future Rider" sneakers are due for release on December 4th, 2020, and boast the famous NES colouring, a "Power" button on the side and detailing on the tongue. There's no word on how much these are going to cost, but we can imagine they will prove to be very popular with Nintendo fans. Puma is also releasing new designs as part of its , which you can view below. We already knew about the , but there are two new designs as well, which arrive on November 27th. Rumours that he turned down a role in The Hobbit to work on Nintendo Life are, to the best of our knowledge, completely and utterly unfounded. Comments ) How about a line of shoes just like the sneaks and boots the kids in TheWizard wore? Quintessential eighties! I don’t know what sneakers are, but I want those trainers! Would not surprise me of most people will not be able to buy this, and that shoe collectors (yes that does exist sadly) will be the ones getting them. As for the shoes themself, they look fine. If it wasn’t for that rather nasty POWER thing on the side, I’d actually really want a pair of these! Puma's Future Rider range is infuriating. They have loads of lovely colourways but all are ruined by the bizarre lump of plastic on the side (where this one says POWER). I was given a pair as a present and I had to send them back as the random plastic bits stick out so much. Such a shame. I love the NES trainers, particularly the POWER button and the tongue. I'm glad I'm not a sneakerhead though. With gaming and dating I've got enough expensive addictions. completely agree. I’d actually buy these if it weren’t for that Yep... I Need.... in my life... Yo these are niiiice I am out of my "I want Everything if it has Mario's Face on it" Phase (Sorry If I spelled that wrong it's 4 in the morning) so I really don't care about the Mario sneakers, and these NES Ones look cool if it did not have the giant POWER thing, The Mario Cart, and the Controller. I like game merch that is subtle, not that screams in everyone's face "I LIKE MARIO!!!" In all caps.
That is what caught my attention as well. I like the shoe but the plastic parts look tacky and prone to damage. "Sneakers" is a term used in the northern U.S. In the South a lot of us call them "tennis shoes." The puma ones actually look cool. WB 80's! you could get a pair of good old nics trainers fir a fraction of the price of these and some designs look similar! One for the collector’s shelf I guess Weird. Did the RS-Dreamer Galaxy shoes ever actually come out in the US? The ones pictured in the article are a differently styled RS-Fast model from what was shown in the article back in September. The Sunshine shoes scheduled for Black Friday are still the same RS-Dreamer ones as before. Love the water ones. The Pop-Tart look on the back is also nice! But if i buy them, will i wear them or keep them. Meh. without the nes keychain thing and the ‘power’ this would be a kinda cool nod to the 8bit, and maybe you could get away with it as a grown man. But with those things you’re just gonna look like a man child who plays with toys The Puma Tetris trainers released around this time last year were very cool too. Sadly I have massive feet and Puma stop doing half sizes past a 12 (UK). The 12s were too small for me and the 13s too big Leave A Comment Hold on there, you need to to post a comment...
