Puyo Puyo Tetris 2's Second Post-Launch Update Adds Colourblind Support And More Nintendo Life

Returning characters and new modes are also present by Share: Image: Sega If you're a fan of puzzle games, then we strongly advise checking out . Scoring an last December, Sega confirmed there'd be significant via free updates and last month's started in style, as a playable character. February's update is now live and while there aren't any major crossovers this time, dedicated Puyo Puyo fans will recognise four familiar faces. Returning to the roster is Serilly from Puyo Puyo 2, Rafisol from and – representing the entries – twins Yu & Rei, alongside Strange Klug. Colourblind players will also be pleased that Sega has added new accessibility options, too. That includes support for those suffering from deuteranopia (can't perceive green light), tritanopia (blue light) and protanopia (red light). Elsewhere, three new songs have been included and the formerly single-player Challenge modes now feature multiplayer support, both locally and online. A previous bug regarding Item Cards – one which Sega two weeks ago – has also been fixed. We're certainly pleased to see Sega taking these steps, making Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 more expansive and accessible than ever. If you've not picked up this puzzle sequel yet, now is an excellent time to do. Will you be jumping back into Puyo Puyo Tetris 2? It occurs to me that Roger Craig Smith's last credited voice role as Sonic the Hedgehog, might be for Puyo Puyo Tetris 2. Been having a lot of fun with this game. Online is great, and the price is already down to $30US on Amazon. As someone who didn't play the first game, this was well worth it. Excellent. Though, I will have to find a new excuse for losing now. I do own the first game and there seems to be no reason to buy this one!! Or? : Yeah, not really. This is one of the most superfluous games/sequels ever made. I'd argue that there was more effort put in to the FIFA "Legacy Editions" than this, and yet, hypocritically, gaming sites have overwhelmingly given PPT2 positive reviews in spite of the absence of any noteworthy new content. They could have sprung for a different Puyo Puyo and/or Tetris spin-off, but this game has been mostly the same with only the odd new mode (the RPG-like skill card mode being the most noteworthy inclusion). And the story is incomprehensible nonsense again, and the characters don't even remember each other, which makes it feel more like a reboot rather than a sequel (not that I remembered anything about the first game's "story"). I'm a sucker and ended up buying it due to my love of Tetris, but I can't defend how derivative this "sequel" is either, and I can only only wholeheartedly recommend it to those who haven't bought the first game.
