We Just Hear a Loud Bang Teenagers Rush to the Rescue After Plane Crashes on a Golf Course

On Sunday afternoon, a flight from Illinois with engine failure crashed at the 17th hole at Helfrich golf course in Tennessee. Nonetheless, three teenagers who were enjoying competing against each other in the course, came to the rescue of the crashed victims. Let’s take a look at what unfolded in the aftermath of the plane crash.

The preliminary report of the crash will be released in three weeks. However, a much more in-depth analysis would require a lot more time according to NTSB spokeswoman, Sarah Sulick. The cause of the crash is considered to be an engine failure. ADVERTISEMENT Article continues below this ad As for the heroic teenagers, Micah Luckett and Max Renshaw are weekly visitors to the golf course. However, they invited their third friend, Mason Harth, who played a key role in checking on the passengers.

Playing golf turns into a life-saving moment for teens

However, his friend Renshaw denied the claim, “there’s no way a plane’s crashing.” Later all three teens heard a loud sound, that caught everybody’s attention. “All of a sudden we just hear a loud bang. And all three of us drop our bags and we rush over the hill. And sure enough, the plane has crashed. Micah (called) 911”, said Max Renshaw. As Luckett dialed 911 to report the crash, he was informed by the dispatcher that they had already been made aware of a small plane having engine trouble. Luckett said, “(911) asked me which golf course and what hole because they already had people going out ready to go and get them”. The third friend Mason Harth went closer to crashed plane to check on the passengers. As it turns out, the victims were two adults and two children. “They’re all just laying there (by the plane),” Harth said. ADVERTISEMENT Article continues below this ad Fortunately, none of them were badly injured, as the pilot was healthy enough to speak to Harth and claim that there had been an engine failure. The Evansville Police Department spokeswoman said that all victims were taken to the hospital and have “no life-threatening injuries”. As far as the heroics teens are concerned, they were over the moon with their experience. They believe they got more than they bargained for, with the Harth even saying, “Best five bucks I’ve ever spent”. The incident will only make the teens fall more in love with golf.
