UK Charts: Super Mario 3D All-Stars Remains In Top Ten Despite Being Discontinued Nintendo Life

Balan Wonderworld nowhere to be seen by Share: UK physical chart data is now in for the week ending 3rd April, revealing that has managed to stay in the top ten for another week despite being discontinued by Nintendo. The game was , but with a decent number of already-shipped physical copies still sitting in store warehouses, the game has continued to be picked up by fans. It took a bit of a tumble, falling to eighth from second place last week, but it'll be interesting to see how long it'll take before copies dry up. Elsewhere, has reclaimed top spot (the Switch version accounted for 21% of this week's sales), and last week's number one, , has dropped to fourth. Outriders is the only newcomer to that top ten list, and didn't make it into the tracked top 40. Here's a look at this week's top ten all formats chart: Last Week This Week Title 8 1 3 2 4 3 1 4 7 5 - 6 Outriders 16 7 2 8 14 9 Assassin's Creed Valhalla 6 10 [Compiled by GFK] Did you buy any of these chart-topping games this week? He’d much rather just have a night in with Mario Kart and a pizza, and we can’t say we blame him. Comments ) Mario becomes more popular once he leaves us.
Sad but true.
R.I.P Mario. Oh wait.......I can still play it on my 64.
Long live Mario! Mario still in the charts after being discontinued? See. What was all the fuss about? Hee hee. That’s actually a pretty good top 10. Fifa has just entered its “season is nearly over so let’s give this a deep discount before we start shilling Fifa 22” phase, but that is generally speaking a good selection of games. Two Mario platformers, RingFit, MH Rise, Outriders - fair play, UK.
A combination of the strong run on the game in the last few days on the market and leftover stock, no doubt.
Also: Monster Hunter Rise getting the top 4 position in its second week is very good position for game in comparison to other games in the series, if I'm not mistaken. It makes me wonder where the game will end up in the sales, wonder if it can become one of the best-selling entries in the franchise. Balan Wonderwhatnow? Sorry, we've all already forgotten about that game. Given the charts we see next week will have had a full week of 3D All Stars being delisted, I think it'll be out of the top 10. Also think Outriders will leave the top 10. So I think the charts will look something like: 1. Animal Crossing
2. Miles Morales
3. 3D World
4. MK8 Deluxe
5. FIFA 21
6. MH Rise
7. Assassin's Creed Valhalla
8. Minecraft (Switch)
9. CoD Black Ops Cold War
10. Ring Fit Adventure 3D World deserves to sell gazillions!! It is absolutely amazing...3D World and Odyssey are my 2 favourite Mario games ever...and I've been playing for a LONG time Don't worry, I was being silly. Nintendo dominating the top 10 in the UK chart... That's so beautiful Even Stubbs The Zombie sold better than Balan Wonderworld... Saw it on the Download Only chart on my Switch last week. Balan nowhere to be seen. Mario still in plentiful supply, unsurprisingly! Proof, if-proof-be-need-be, that scalpers and their customers are not the brightest! Oh knock it off with the mario died thing! That really bugs you guys at Nintendolife doesn't it? I eagerly await the first article you post once the next mario game has been announced. He has risen! The king has returned! and so forth. Didn't any Nintendo fan or gamer with a brain stem already own those games on 3D all stars anyway? If you didn't already download it on switch by now that's your loss.
Didn't catch that. My bad! Mario Stars All Stars is overstocked in any local store, and is why it won't be gone anytime soon.
Price will probably be dumped soon to get rid of stock. On an offtopic note, is there some kind of emergency eShop shakeup going on? Both the webstore and the console claim "maintenance", but the only planned one listed on the website isn't due until next week. EDIT: never mind, found it: Balan who? Sounds like the name of some forgettable shovelware. Why is the game being sold for a lot on eBay? pretty sure I saw Balan Wonderland on the eShop charts but it was so fleeting I could be wrong. I definitely saw Stubbs, you’re right there. Those scalpers must had taken every copies of Super Mario 3D All-Stars for it to sell that well. I'm still seeing plenty of copies of 3D All Stars in stores. Picked up a second one to keep sealed just to see if it fetches a good price in a few years. Even if it doesn't, I'm sure someone will be able to enjoy playing it for a reasonable price and I won't have lost anything. Balan Wonderworld nowhere to be seen
...oh geez Seriously, you put an ad halfway down the Top 10?
Anyway I'm glad to see Nintendo continue it's UK dominance and MH Rise stick around for another week. I’ve seen download codes for sale at 7/11 still. I wonder if these would be worth anything? Leave A Comment Hold on there, you need to to post a comment...
