The team management confirmed on Wednesday about his return and that his former team, Houston Texans, will be the opponents in Week 13. The same team with whom he had spent the last four seasons. However, it was a disappointing 24-26 loss for Mayfield and his team, . ADVERTISEMENT Article continues below this ad Hopefully, Watson will try to improve the season’s record. The Browns are currently placed second last in the AFC North with three wins and five losses. Although he joined the training camp last month, fulfilling his suspension requirements, the passer will only get to appear for joint practice sessions with the squad on November 14. Till then, he can work on his own, attending team meetings and strategizing his future in the NFL. The team’s general manager Andrew Berry seemed quite happy announcing the news on Wednesday. “It’s been great to have him back in the building,” Berry to the reporters. “He’s been focused on working on himself, he’s stayed in great shape. He’s been a part of the meetings, he’s done everything and more that’s been asked of him. We’ll be excited to have him when he can continue to ramp up football activities and get back on the practice field.” He added. No doubt, the Browns had gone through a lot since Watson’s inception into the team. Initially, they had to sacrifice six draft picks and structure a lucrative contract for five years. Although it seemed everything got over, the quarterback later got slammed with a big suspension from the league.

When Deshaun Watson vowed to focus on his future and take accountability for his decisions

The 26-year-old was under the radar of constant criticisms since his name got involved in various misconducts back in 2020. Before the season began, the NFL and NFLPA jointly appealed for disciplinary actions against the passer. I take accountability for the decisions I made.” Watson in a statement. “My focus going forward is on working to become the best version of myself on and off the field and supporting my teammates however possible while I’m away from the team,” he added.
