But here is how the famous NASCAR drivers responded when they were asked to reveal their childhood nicknames. ADVERTISEMENT Article continues below this ad During a fun with NBC Sports, NASCAR drivers answered one of the most embarrassing questions. “What was your childhood nickname?” The first driver to reveal their secret was none other than Austin Dillon. While explaining how he got his nickname, Dillon said; “My AAU Basketball coach called me cookie dough one time because I liked cookie dough and I was a little pudgy.” ADVERTISEMENT Article continues below this ad Furthermore, an embarrassed Hailie Deegan couldn’t believe she was going to share this. She said; “I’ve been trying to bury it, like deeply bury it. It’s dirt princess. Not a fan. Not a fan at all.” Moreover, a straight-faced Tyler Reddick said; “T-Dawg. Mainly from Kyle Larson. And I really don’t need it. Or want it to come back.” Apart from this, a proud Brad Keselowski answered; “BK the Whopper.” But Bubba Wallace just nodded his head and said; “Still my nickname, Bubba.” Because of course, that is his one and only one since forever!” Other obvious nicknames were that of Michael McDowell and Harrison Burt’s. When asked about it, McDowell simply said “McD” while Burt replied “Harry. My mom hated it but that’s what they call me.” Well, moving on, a confused Chris Buescher shared his surprising nickname. He said; “Junior. But I am not a Junior so, I have no clue how that ended up being it.” Furthermore, Justin Allgaier shared; “I was known as Little Gator because… my dad’s gator. Still known as Little Gator.” William Byron on the other hand shared that his nickname was “Billy.” Whereas Garett Smithley revealed; “The girls call me Gare Bear. So, it worked out.”

How did NASCAR fans react to these nicknames

NASCAR fans were clearly happy about their favorite athletes spilling out beans on their favorite nicknames.
