This led to him arguing with his parents, something he never did before. Following this, first, his stepfather warned him. He said, “Be careful who you step on, on your way to success.” Then Mama O’Neal said, “Who the hell are you?”. These words are all it took for Shaq to get rid of his arrogance. She also reminded him that making good money or being a basketball player doesn’t make him better than anyone else.
