The Summer Game Fest Returns In 2022
The Summer Game Fest Returns In 2022 Nintendo Life More will be shared at The Game Awards by Share: It's been announced the Summer Game Fest will be returning in 2022...next Summer. There are no other details just yet, but apparently, more information will be revealed during The Game Awards. Geoff Keighley - the host and organiser of both events - shared the following message (below) on Twitter as part of this announcement. It's expected to feature at least some Switch announcements based on past events. What games would you like to see showcased? Comment down below. I'm excited to share that will return in Summer 2022.

I still watch these smaller game events for news on upcoming games or new ones.
Plus E3 can just be bad if not worse.
This years E3 was absolute garbage besides Nintendo and Xboxs. True, this e3 wasn't great, but Summer Games Fest felt worse to me. You’re a bit early there Geoff. Summer is becoming quite inflated with video game events. People are unnecessarily freaking out over E3's so-called "identity crisis," Gamescom has evolved more to become an indie showcase, Summer Game Fest/Show is undeniably an upcoming rival to E3, and Tokyo Game Show never gets enough attention for Western audiences. Woo cant wait. Geoff knew dang well about Activisions involvement in the Game Awards AS WELL AS the horrible things the higher ups have done, yet he still played kissy kissy with Bob Kostich up until people said something about it. Don't humor the game awards this year, they actively fuel and give power to people like Bob Great, the amorphous blob of video game events in the summer shows no sign of taking any cohesive shape or form. One of the admittedly extremely minor annoyances from the pandemic that looks like it’s here to stay. Geoff says Geoff would like to say that Geoff will be hosting the Geoff games event again this summer. Geoff will tell everyone more about it during Geoff's winter game awards.
