Animal Crossing New Horizons Islands Get Inspired By The Best Islands We ve Seen So Far
Animal Crossing: New Horizons: Islands - Get Inspired By The Best Islands We've Seen So Far Nintendo Life Putting our meagre island efforts to shame by Share: Image: Austin Voigt Since launched back in March 2020, a large community of gamers have been sharing created for the game, and they've only gotten more impressive since the launch of the . However, perhaps even more impressive are the amazing landscaping projects players have undertaken to engineer the perfect Animal Crossing paradise using custom designs, items from the game and a metric ton of patience and talent. We're not just talking about using to reroute a river or , either. We're talking major environmental manipulation and decoration that turns a deserted island into a rural paradise, urban metropolis or theme park! While we can't help but feel a little jealous and shameful that our own islands are so vanilla by comparison, we're still bowled over by some of the best designs we've seen online. Ornate and delicate walkways, urban jungles, insanely intricate waterways and path systems; the following are a handful of the most impressive Animal Crossing islands we've seen across social media since the launch of New Horizons. We'll add to them as and when the latest incredibly grand designs pop up. It's also possible to visit other people's islands without bothering the host via Dream Address codes, so check out , which includes a couple of the islands below. Enjoy!

Comments ) I really need to start making mine look nice , everything is standard so far but I’m still finding my feet Good grief these are good. Trying to make my island as varied as possible, with all the shops essentially being an urban region, a farmland region across the river, and then a highland camping and mountain shrine in the uppermost regions Just my two cents but this site seems to have lost it for Animal Crossing. I'm voting for less AC coverage and more Nintendo coverage. That's only good if you get the Construction option on the phone app. Otherwise your just playing with what you have. I've added paths and did some construction but I like to keep my island looking how it is for the most part. I've been to see islands where almost all the trees are removed. And then there’s me stuck on my brother’s island, where he’s stuck the museum right next to his own house and it looks horrible. Animal Crossing is the big Nintendo game right now. I think with the current pandemic on, there isn't much news right now Would love to visit another island but don't have a dodo code I only have pears, peaches and coconuts but can't get any other fruit. Been to loads of nook miles islands but they only have pears n coconuts! considering animal crossing’s booming popularity, animal crossing articles are going to get the most clicks. On this add-supported site, clicks are livelihood so I wouldn’t expect much general nintendo news that doesn’t have anything to do with animal crossing i the near future. Happy to see a fellow bamboo grove with tigers and pandas. Started building mine yesterday. Wow these are amazing! I only got the terraforming capabilities yesterday and have a LOT of learning to do yet. Is it just me or is that bamboo about 50% taller than it should be? Double height waterfall behind my house is the first thing I made.
Carved a valley through my island, haven't done much since but earn bells to pay off my 3rd room to earn my 2nd floor.
Am I alone in not caring at all about doing this stuff to their island? Mine looks like it is from the GameCube version, and it doesn't bother me at all. Just trees and grass. These look good. I know someone that did the urban look and is using race car beds to look like cars in the street. I'm happy with a few spots on my island but I'm working hard to get rare flowers right now so I have flowers everywhere. I'm seen nice ones from people here and as we trade more should get even better.
Looks good! There is very little to cover for Nintendo right now. I just got my construction kit last night so I will start fiddling around with that but I like not having my island clustered. All my trees are in regions so there's no mixing. I like the way mine looks, but there's still room for improvement. To me it everything just looks like a jubbled mess It's a travesty if our isn't represented. The island is amazing! I'm going for a more primative look, but there is no denying the skill and hard work put into the island. Its a great metropolis! Other than game delays, there really isn’t much to talk about right now. My island is not even a scratch to what's shown in this article, but I'll do my best to make mine as fancy as I see fit. Aw, thank you.
I'd say that my island is probably a bit on the simplistic side though. I put a lot of focus to making it easy and convenient to get around but haven't done anything too fancy or decorated that much. I'm not a very creative person (my island flag shows that, haha).
Quite a few of the users here have really cool looking islands. how expensive is teraforming? you can come to mine if you want. I tried to make an Outset Island inspired island.
Thanks, do you have the code? This library is nice
I mean, these are nice and all, but I'm fine with my island basic mess with crap just plunked down wherever. It's not that I'm not creative or whatever, I'm just lazy. OMG mine is there!!!! Mine is Zelleria with the diner and car park nooks is now on the right, ables on the left, and a bus stop where the camp site was I haven't even tried terraforming yet. Nook's upgraded today. Items are more expensive but much nicer. My basement will be done tomorrow. I always concentrate on my home first. Plus I'm using my amiibo cards to get residents i want. I'm trying to make myself slow down and remember it's the journey not the destination that's important. I am really jealous cause i don't have the talent or imagination to make my island look that good The city looking island was amazing.
Btw, what is the measure of breadth and length of the island ?
Welcome to Brooklyn Crossing! I'm trying to make my island cozy! Any tips? I'm not even mad, that's amazing! I can't imagine how hard it must have been to make such elaborate and beautiful islands Leave A Comment Hold on there, you need to to post a comment...

I really love seeing everyone's ideas and creations. And no, it doesn't get me insecure or feeling like I'm missing out. If anything, it's helpful in spurring inspiration on things I didn't even think about designing or setting up. If there is one thing I'm envious of (seeing other people's islands) is that beautiful "We're Open" sign I've seen on some islands. I really want to know how to get that and at what point that comes into play in the game I really dig that rural island design, with the cottage style and all the flowers. Such a relaxing environment to amble around in. Man, this game is awesome!!! Video of my island. Once it's unlocked (after a certain event in-game), you have to pay nook miles to unlock each further landscaping ability but they're free to use endlessly after that. You start with dirt paths, each extra path type cost something like 1000-2000 nook miles each I think? And I think water & cliff landscaping were around 8000 each to unlock. Don't quote me on those though. My favorite themed island so far is this Old West one: I'd like to see Yoshi's Island. Thanks. It kind of just happened, got lucky I guess. Mostly I just put fossils everywhere. It's my pandemic escape. I realised that you can’t dm on nintendolife so it will be harder. But check back here at 6pm CET and I will write my code. heads up, the Nooks Mile islands can only have one type of fruit other than coconuts and your native fruit. This is to encourage online play, I imagine. So that’s why you haven’t found any of the other 3 fruit. Ok thanks Cheers for the info. I just figured Nintendo hated me! you can come visit now if you like code is: BY5K7. What’s your in game name? So I know who you are. Thanks for the fruit, your island is amazing compared to mine! If you need anything let me know Lost my fruit cos the internet lost connection! Thanks anyway, Oh no! You can come back if you want. I can put it outside the airport. 85H8W Thanks Got them this time I´m not hyped either to do all that and I am enjoying the game though I don´t have those skills develop in order to customize the island up to that level! Let's see what happens when I get there. I just saw a horror themed island by a YouTube user No One: Hey look it's Temmie. these are so epic yooo I made the Pac-Man maze on my island On Friday, ABC's Good Morning America did a bit on New Horizons as a sim that can alleviate stress.
