Fortunately, she’s also easily pleased by anything Yoshi-related, creepy-but-cute Pokémon, and SEGA air pirates. Comments ) I'm glad I'm different, didn't even play games like most UK gamers played.
I prefer playing obscure / unpopular games than the most wanted / too popular games. Switch Sports is Very Fun, well Deserved! I'm glad it's successful and I hope we see more add ons besides Golf. thankfully for Gamepass, I've tried Sniper Elite 5 before I decided to waste money on it. Too boring for me. I'll wait with purchasing Switch Sports until they're done with the updates. Don't see why I should buy a half finished game. Same goes for Mario Strikers, I'll wait until they're done with the free updates before I get it. In the meantime, my backlog is still big enough to last me a lifetime and I really enjoy hunting bargains for videogames. FIFA!!!! ** shakes fist ** Loving Switch Sports, it's awesome online and great fun to play with my family, can't wait for Golf and more sports to be added, but having a blast with it. Got Switch sports this week, my kids (5 and 11) really dig it. I feel it is a really stripped down experience from the WII , i feel everything is on rails and just not as fun as the WII version. But! seeing the enjoyment of my kids when we battle it out with swords or badminton is priceless. I love the look of these characters in Switch Sports, they are so cutsy and colorful. But online I always end up with a trihard who put his lifes effort into mastering this one minigame and you just have no chance. , Totally agree, the Mii's are just so dated. I wonder how many physical copies of Minecraft Microsoft had sold so far. That game hardly ever disappeared from the UK and Japan sales chart at all and it's on its 11th year now. Removed - off-topic This is just one region. In Japan, the Switch OLED just by itself has higher lifetime sales than PS5. Overall, supply issues are definitely hurting sales still till this day. Sony seem to have had a good week. Predictions for Mario Strikers? First for a couple of weeks I reckon, easy. the narrative specifically for the UK was that the PS5 was selling horribly (nevermind the fact the PS5 version of most multiplats was the best selling console version over the past year & change)... End of the day: any console who's launch demand reached its 3rd holiday... easily went on to sell 100 million. So PS5 is a shoe-in for 100M. No the “narrative” is PS5 is underperforming in all the regions [due to stock shortage and still lacking a lot of system selling exclusives] and plenty of PS4 versions still selling more then PS5 equivalents. UK is one of Sony’s strongest regions so it should be expected they dominate the market even if they need bundles to do it. Nothing in life is every a shoe in. With inflation going up and up and up ... Sony better sell those PS5 sooner than later because people are gonna be running out of money soon for extra beyond food and rent. Nice, Switch Sports is fantastic, well deserved. "No the 'narrative' is PS5 is underperforming in all the regions"......Like i said in my OG comment: clearly it's not underperforming in the UK region. Oh and the majority of games over the last year sell better on PS5 over PS4... inflation clearly isnt affecting the PS5 demand...there are still scalpers selling above regular price. Demand for other consoles will drop long before demand for the PS5 drops I'm not talking about the inflation that we have currently. I'm talking about the inflation that is still to come. We are facing year-over-year 8 to 9% inflation rates. (It's because politicians thought you could foolishly cut taxes and continue increasing spending---forever. They create an inflation bomb so to speak.) Anyways, gaming falls under a luxury good. And when bad economic times hit, gaming will be one of the things people can cut back on. It's not that people won't want it. Same thing was said about a $500 console couldn't sell during a pandemic... Looking at the current demand for all 3 consoles, the PS5's demand is the most likely to be able to whether this inflation you say is still to come. So Sony's good on that front.
