The player includes an extensive Google Doc that lists every single Skryim mod installed on their system. Despite releasing almost nine years ago, continues to withstand the test of time due to continued support from the modding community. With over 1.7 billion mod downloads at Nexus Mods, the game is the most popular title on the site — and its numbers keep climbing. Recently, Reddit user 955StarPooper has his copy of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim with over 300 mods tied to it. Despite the player's mods pertaining to the Special Edition of the game, they are similar to those of the original version of the game, yet still manage to make everything look like a brand new experience. Additionally, 955StarPooper provided a video to demonstrate the mods in action and show just how different the game looks. THEGAMER VIDEO OF THE DAY As you can see from the above video, the town of Whiterun doesn't look anything like the one in the base game. With things like graphics, textures, resolution, and a lot more being overhauled (including the addition of additional flora), the entire town looks completely rebuilt from the ground up. Since over 300 mods have been installed in 955StarPooper's game, naming all of them would seem like an impossible task. As such, the player shared his whole mod list by linking it to a file. Looking through the list, it seems that the majority of the mods are immersive, quality of life, and graphic overhaul mods. For example, a good chunk of them improve lighting, textures, and meshes — resulting in the beautiful graphics seen in the video. Other mods like "" which turns the game's "starry void into a spectacular view," make the game look much better and far more interesting than the base game. Although the next installment in The Elder Scrolls series , it's safe to say that once it does come out, modders will immediately get to work and start developing mods that will significantly change the game.
