Finding & Evolving Gothita

Gothita is altogether unattainable in Shield unless traded over from Sword, and even there it is an exceedingly rare encounter. Gothita can only be found roaming the overworld around Giant's Cap in foggy weather. There is about a 50% chance one will spawn under these conditions. However, trainers can take matters into their own hands by exploiting the max raid hack on dens in the Stony Wilderness and Watchtower Ruins. Keep in mind these max raids are still only available in Pokémon Sword. THEGAMER VIDEO OF THE DAY Finding a Gothita is the tricky part. Once captured, trainers should have an easy enough time evolving Gothita by raising it to level 32. From there, trainers will need to train their new Gothorita up to level 41 for it to evolve into Gothitelle.

Sound defense and impressive Special stats mean Gothitelle should make good use of its psychic abilities. Future Sight is the most substantial move this chain learns, and it's always a handy trick to have up a trainer's sleeve. Psychic and Psyshock are both top contenders for the move-set as well.
