Animal Crossing New Horizons - All Of The New Bugs Available In June

Here are all of the new bugs that will be available in Animal Crossing: New Horizons in June. Via: Nintendo With a new month in comes a slew of new bugs and fish to be caught. The past few months have been a little light on massive changes, but with the summer months comes a large collection of new critters to be caught and donated. You can even make a killing selling things like the Goliath Beetle since they'll be populating islands like crazy. For this guide, we'll be focusing exclusively on the bugs that will soon appear. We'll also break down the list into both Northern and Southern hemispheres so you can plan according to your specific island. June doesn't see a huge amount of new bugs, but this is just the beginning of what's in store. It should also prepare you for how to catch beetles, which will be regularly appearing in the summer. Northern Hemisphere

Emperor Butterly: Available 5:00 pm - 8:00 am (Technically not new as it was available Dec-Mar). Firefly: Available 7:00 pm - 4:00 am. Drone Beetle: Available all day on trees. Goliath Beetle: Available 5:00 pm - 8:00 am on palm trees. Rainbow Stag: Available 7:00 pm - 8:00 am on trees. Mosquito: Available 5:00 pm - 4:00 am.

Southern Hemisphere

Emperor Butterfly: Available 5:00 pm - 8:00 am (Technically not new as it was available Dec-Mar). Rajah Brooke's Butterfly: Available 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (Technically not new as it was available Oct-Mar). Dune Beetle: Available all day on snowballs. For any of the butterflies, you're simply going to have to get lucky with finding them. There isn't much you can do to create new spawns in the environment. You can, however, go to an island and chop down all of the trees, thus providing you with less spawns for beetles or stump bugs. You'll still need to tango with New Horizons' RNG. You can utilize a similar method for making beetles spawn, as well. Removing all of the flowers and chopping down unnecessary trees on an island will force beetles to spawn. It's not 100% guaranteed, but it is easier than strolling around your town for hours on end. The dung beetle is more luck-based, but you can check snowballs multiple times in a day to find one of the elusive insects.
