It's predecessor, Crusader Kings II, released in 2012, was and still is a very successful game and is even rated 9/10 on Steam. Paradox's fans were surprised by the news this today as the Crusader Kings III release date was announced along with the releases of two amazingly produced gameplay trailers. In this version, you will also receive a pre-order bonus of fashion called the Garments of the Holy Roman Empire Pack. In the duly-titled Royal Edition, you will receive the base game and four expansion packs that have not had their release dates announced.
