Animal Crossing New Horizons 10 Most Annoying Bugs Ranked
Bugs in New Horizons can be annoying to deal with. These are the most frustrating in the game. Bugs are one of the biggest draws for the community. Whether you love them and the bells they bring or have the same attitude as Blatheres, they are here to stay. While many bugs like the high-value tarantula are loved by players, there are many more buys that gamers don't seem to be fond of. Bugs have the power to disrupt your gameplay or even just be a pain to find. Some of these devious insects have been around since the very first game, while others are new to New Horizons. Below we have ranked the ten most annoying bugs in the game. THEGAMER VIDEO OF THE DAY Common Butterfly
The common butterfly is like the name suggests one of the most common bugs in the game. They are so common in fact that you can catch one and have another one appear a few seconds later. This clogs up the spawning area and makes it less likely that you will get a rare bug. Not only that, but Common Butterfly are only worth 160 bells. PondSkater
Pondskaters are the small bugs that you usually see zipping across the top of puddles. These bugs love to appear in the games water sources and will zip from one side to the next, making them irritating to capture. They are also one of the reasons that tarantula island is harder to spawn. These insects can be between Juna and September in the game. Cockroach
In every single game in the series, a horde of cockroaches will invade your house if you're gone too long. This leads players to have to enter and exit rooms several times to have all of the little invaders appear for squishing. Worst of all, you can' use the net inside of your house. That means that these bugs were created for the sole purpose of punishing players. Wharf Roach
If you walk to a player about trying to spawn rare bugs on islands, then they will probably mention how much they hate the wharf roach. Wharf roaches tend to spawn on rocks even if items are dropped on top of them. They can spawn several sets to a rock, as well, making them extra hard to get rid of. On top of the high spawn rates, the wharf roach is only worth 200 bells. Flea
Nothing is worse than running to your favorite villager for a chat and being told they feel itchy. Fleas are bugs that randomly spawn on villagers, and they presume to jump all over them, making completing tasks and just simply chatting, a hard task to accomplish. This forces you to either go inside a shop and back out again or catch the pesky bug. Fly
The fly is a bug that has been giving New Horizon players a hard time. This is because, in order to spawn one, you have to start throwing trash around your island. While this does make sense, no player wants to ruin there aesthetics or rating with a pile of cans in the center of town. To top it all off, the fly is only worth a pathetic 80 bells. Giant Water Bug
This is the creature responsible for the collapse of tarantula island. Giant water bugs like to smugly sit on the edge of the water and mock players as they pass by. It sticks around from April until December on only appears at night, during the same slot as rare bugs. It is worth 2,000 bells, but this is a fraction of the price of a tarantula. Hermit Crab
If you like the shell , then your likely trying to collect as many shells as possible. It can understandably be a bit annoying when one of those shells spouts legs and starts to run towards the water. The creature even gives a horrible pun about being left alone when captured. The Hermit Crab only appears at night, so make sure to harvest your shells during the day to avoid disappointment. Scorpion
The scorpion comes out at night and loves to quickly chase the player down and make them pass out. While the scorpion is peaceful, if you don't have a net out, for players who hunt at night, it can be a huge nuisance since it's insanely difficult to catch if it sneaks up on you. If you do manage to catch one, you can net yourself 8,000 bells. Wasp
The wasp is a creature that has irritated players since the beginning of the franchise. Shaking trees can get players free money and furniture. Occasionally though, a tree will drop a wasps nest. The moment the nest hits the ground, a swarm of wasps will begin to relentlessly chase down the player. The only way to stop them is to make it inside a house or capture them quickly with your net.
