Animal Crossing 10 Worst Event Characters Ranked

Animal Crossing has introduced some characters that only appear for events. Here are the 10 worst, ranked. players know that there are tons of different characters in the series. Just like there are tons of villagers you would never want in your town, there are also some lackluster special characters. Some of them even give you lackluster rewards or activities that are just plain boring to do. Some of these animals have even left series fans confused about how the Animals ever made it past status. These event characters are even badly designed, or their personality just doesn't fit in with your town vibe. Below we are ranking the worst special event characters in Animal Crossing. THEGAMER VIDEO OF THE DAY

Blanka

Blanka is a cat with no face, and one of the creepiest characters in the series. She traditionally shows up for April Fools, pointing to the fact that her whole design is supposed to be a joke. In some titles in the series, you will even have to draw on a face for Blanka. In , however, she begins to impersonate villagers and gives you a picture of herself if you talk to her instead of the real animal.

Shrunk

Despite the fact that Dr. Shrunk is supposedly loved by all, he is a rather cringy fellow. During his first few appearances, he helps players learn reactions. As the series progressed, though, he found himself in charge of a comedy show where he tells bad puns. Some players are even starting to wonder if Dr. Shrunk is responsible for the horrible bug and fish lines.

Kaitlin

Let's all be honest; Kaitlin is not a great design. The cat has huge red lips and is a horrible mother. It's stated several times during the series that she has lost her daughter. Instead of going to look for her, she waits for a random stranger to bring Katie back to her, which is a huge parenting red flag. Kaitlin just seems like a character that is better off not being in the positive world of Animal Crossing.

Frillard

Frillard has only appeared in one game in the series and doesn't do much. He can teach you a few unique expressions and is the mentor to Dr. Shrunk. That's right; many of those horrid puns Shrunk tells come directly from Frillard, who was the axolotl's mentor. Frillard is unlikely to make a return in the games since villagers now hold the role of teaching you reactions.

Phineas

Phineas is the boy scout leader of the world. He was a bit more lovable in City Folk as he handed out cute favors like balloons. When he returns in New Leaf, though, he isn't really useful at all unless you are a player who needs to collect literally everything in the game. You can get badges from him after you complete various activities, although they don't do much.

Serena

Serena is a lesser-known character who appears in City Folk. She only has one purpose in the game, and that is providing the player with a golden ax. Other than that, she has no use and won't interact with any of the characters in the game, as other event animals will. It's a bit of a shame because Serena has a great design, and her personality could be fun to expand upon.

Pavé

Pavé is a peacock who really likes to dance. He has been around since City Folk and is a very loud character. The sad part is the series of furniture he has is very basic despite his fiery personality. All the furniture is blue with some lace thrown over it or a bit of wood added in. This is a bit sad as the character could have easily been used to bring in some exciting furniture sets.

Snowman Family

The Snowman family must be built during the winter. Once you build them, they will complain about how cold it is. The family is incredibly hard to create as you need to get the size of your snowball just right. This can only be done during winter and can take a few tries to complete. While the furniture set you get from them isn't bad, they are a boring set of event characters overall.

Zipper T Rabbit

While Zipper has gotten a bad rap for his Bunny day event, he isn't the worst character. However, Zipper is still a horrifying creature, and the chaos he caused players for his two-week event is a bit hard to forgive. There is also the fact that most of the Bunny Day set isn't aesthetically pleasing at all. Zipper may have been a better April Fools joke than an Easter event.

Cornimer

This is one of the lamest event characters to ever grace gaming. Cornimer is literally Tortimer in a horribly made mask. The mask itself looks like something that jumped out of the Halloween event, and his usually revolves around the dull task of collecting acorns. Luckily, Cornimer is nowhere to be found in , and with any luck, it will stay this way.
