Classic Nightwing

The cosplayer known as does a very nice job of capturing everything that fans adore about this classic comic book character. From the batons to the gloves and shoulder guards, InsertWittyWords has really thought of everything when it comes to putting together his costume. One aspect that he completely nails, more so than any of the others, is the blue logo in the middle of the suit. That is, after all, the most important aspect of the vigilante's look, the symbol that finally helped distance himself from the Dark Knight.

Stealth Nightwing

This sleeker, more stealthy looking Nightwing cosplay by is a very cool twist on the character. The unique-looking domino mask that he is wearing in this picture adds to the character's overall mystique and allure. In addition to those aspects of this Nightwing costume, there are a few other subtle accessories that make this one really stand out. A notable one of those is the breastplate and shoulder plates that this Nightwing is wearing that seemed to be connected to one another.

Red Suit Nightwing

If you weren't told beforehand that this cosplayer, , was actually a woman, you wouldn't be able to guess it from this picture. That is a testament to Lust-ik's dedication to the craft and ability to disappear into a character. Choosing to go with the red version of the Nightwing costume, Lust-ik gives us a unique look at an alternate Nightwing costume that doesn't get as much love as it probably should.

Armored Nightwing

This armored Nightwing by looks like he's preparing to absolutely beat down some criminal fools. From the armor behind his Nightwing logo to the reinforced looking domino mask, everything about this Nightwing says he's ready for battle. Even the batons and forearm guards show that this Nightwing has prepared for every possibility that could arise in battle. You definitely don't want to get caught breaking the law while he's on patrol.

Genderbend Nightwing

decided that with her take of the Nightwing character she would lean into the popular cosplay trend of genderbending. AprilRii keeps what makes the character special and also adds her own twists. One of the best aspects of her Nightwing is the blue contacts that she's wearing. They shine quite brightly from the eyeholes of the domino mask and match the blue colors of the Nightwing suit in a very beautiful way.

Underwater Red Suit Nightwing

Another cosplayer deciding to show off the red version of the Nightwing suit, does so with a photoshoot that showcases Dick Grayson submerged underwater. Battle-Tested Nightwing

Another armored up Nightwing, 's take on the character looks like he's been in more than his fair share of battles. The worn look of the armored pads around his joints show a vigilante that has survived some serious attacks. Nightwing was trained by , a guy who certainly knows how to take a hit. This cosplayer shows that Nightwing learned that skill from his former mentor.

Heavy Armored Nightwing

One of the coolest Nightwings to be shown on this list, this Nightwing's suit almost looks like something that Iron Man from Marvel Comics would create. Cosplayer went all out with this interpretation of the character. In the end, it appears to have really paid off well. Over the years, Batman's suit has gone from a skin-tight set of spandex to full out bullet-proof battle armor. Nightwing's suit, for the most part, has not had quite as drastic of a change from its original design. This version of the character by Slashwolf001 shows a Nightwing who decided to follow in the footsteps of the Batman from Batman: Arkham Knight. This Dick Grayson battle armor almost seems to be somewhat of an homage to that specific version of the Nightwing suit.

Lady Nightwing

Dubbing her cosplay "Lady Nightwing" decided to make the classic Batman character all her own. The skin-tight leather suit's intricate, expensive-looking design and material makes this feel like something that Wayne Industries may have developed. After witnessing what VampBeauty's version of a lady Nightwing might look like, it is becoming increasingly clear that there needs to be one in the mainstream DC continuity. There's just something special and uniquely fascinating about this version of the character.

Comic Accurate Nightwing

has the coolest, most intricate and comic-accurate looking Nightwing costume of any of the cosplayers on this list. It isn't even close. In terms of creating the best Nightwing cosplay, Tenraii has zero competition. It obviously took years of work and detailed dedication to the craft for Tenraii to create a Nightwing costume that was this believable and accurate to the classic character. Hopefully, he decides to tackle some of the other super suits that Dick Grayson has worn over the years. There's no doubt that Tenraii would do them justice.
