Crash Bandicoot 4 10 Questions We Still Have About The Story
Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time takes our beloved bandicoot hero into new universes. Here are some questions we have about the game. Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time takes our beloved bandicoot hero into new universes, traversing through alternate dimensions and timelines. With new characters that allow the bandicoot team to tamper with the quantum mechanics of reality, it opens up the plot to a literal whole new universe of possibilities. With a vast array of possibilities and an overwhelming number of potential directions the plot can go in, it's not surprising that there are still many unanswered plot holes fans can't help but ask when playing through the new game. THEGAMER VIDEO OF THE DAY Is Uka Uka Okay
After Uka Uka burns himself out and collapses after successfully opening a dimensional rift, he never appears throughout the rest of the game. Yes, N. Tropy mentions in passing that Uka Uka is no longer of any use to him and his evil plans, but no one would've thought that that meant Uka Uka was no longer of any use to the actual story. After all, he's the big boss and the driving force behind all of Cortex's deeds. So after he collapses at the beginning of the game, is he unconscious? Did he die? Is he just taking a nap? No one knows but everyone absolutely needs to know. Where Do The Masks Come From
via Nicholas Kole Most of the main characters of the game have an origin story: , Cortex is a scientific genius from a family of literal clowns, etc. But the masks, arguably the most interesting characters of the franchise, have a mysterious background not yet touched upon. And with the addition of the four new masks that together seem to make an omnipotent force, it makes players wonder where they came from or as an omnipotent unit, were they there from the beginning of time? What Do Aku Aku and Uka Uka Control
Harkening back to the twin OG masks of the franchise, Aku Aku and Uka Uka, the newly introduced Quantum Masks have their unique powers but what are Aku Aku's and Uka Uka's? The two masks are clearly associated with the Quantum Masks since Aku Aku knows the group and Uka Uka can also open up dimensional rifts. But considering all the two are able to do is protect their wearer, granting them temporary invincibility, it's not so specific that you can connect their abilities to a specific concept like time or dark matter. Who s The Big Glowing Baddie
As a large giant creature emerges from a blue glowing mountain, triggering a classic Crash Bandicoot dash, this character has a lot of set up for someone that disappears after just the introduction. Menacing in design and daunting in presence, any background information regarding this character would be welcome considering that they're distinct and memorable enough and is worth returning to. Where s Original Tawna
Tawna's been M.I.A. from the franchise for a while, especially after she left Crash for Pinstripe (which mind you, was only disclosed by game manual). Disappearing since the first game of the main storyline and ultimately replaced by Coco as the female lead, no one quite knows what she's up to. Although Coco mentions in passing that they lost touch with her and nothing more, there's a little bit of history that fans wouldn't mind unraveling. New Tawna - Mutated Experimented
As the saying goes, "out with the old, and in with the new". The old Tawna is nowhere to be seen, but the new spunky Tawna is here and honestly, Crash doesn't seem to mind. That said, most (if not all) anthropomorphic bandicoots result from failed experiments, mutating them into bipedal characters with their own conscience. However, with no alter-Cortex introduced in this game, it brings to question how alter-Tawna came about her own anthropomorphism. Was she also a failed experiment? A successful one? Or do all bandicoots from her dimension function similarly to humans? When Did N Gin Become A Musician
Not that anyone's complaining because who knew N. Gin was a total one-man-band rockstar that everyone wishes they could be, but when did he turn from science to music? No longer is he just tampering with rockets and nuclear weapons which is probably for the better considering the rocket embedded into his head. Instead, N. Gin now uses science for both mayhem and music whilst garnering himself a solid fanbase that comes to his shows even though they can't really see the show. So how and when did N. Gin choose to turn his life around, fans would love to know. How Did Alter-Crash and Coco Die
In female-N. Tropy's cliche bad guy speech while fighting alter-Tawna, she mentions that she killed the Crash and from their universe. Although players already suspected this based on alter-Tawna's reaction to Coco's "are we dead or something?", the game never mentions the circumstances of which they died. Considering that characters are only ever defeated and no one has actually died within the franchise until this game, a little more detail to alter Crash and Coco's character deaths would be much appreciated. Romance Between The N Tropy s
Love knows no boundaries as it transcends time and space in which found their love in the alternate dimension. A little narcissistic considering N. Tropy fell in love with him/herself to the disgust of everyone but Dingodile (the first official fan to ship them apparently), but there hasn't been a 100% confirmation from the developers that the N. Tropy's shameless flirty exchanges blossomed into something more. Who Ran Dingo s Before Dingodile Retired
Because evil intentions and is something you can retire from, apparently, Dingodile finally left the villainous lifestyle and dedicated himself to fulfilling his career as a diner owner. After one last run with Dingo's Luigi-esque vacuum backpack, but this time, with the good guys, he reopened his diner, promising to gift patrons tasty delicacies inspired by interdimensional travel. Though, considering that Dingodile primarily worked under Cortex, it begs to question how his diner was run before he retired. Did he work two full-time jobs or did he have staff that ran the business while he was away?
