Not only did it bring Geralt's story to a captivating conclusion, but it also made the franchise into a pop culture icon. Due to the game's success, the series has seen both a Netflix show and animated series spawn into existence. You may have played the masterclass game when it came out, but did you manage to find all of the hidden easter eggs? Three Little Pigs

As Geralt, in the , you can come across a series of very familiar houses. The first two houses you see behind the major tower will both be demolished, one being made of straw and the other of sticks. You'll find that the third house is standing strong and is made of brick. If you happen to activate a blast of Aard, the house will crumble and three pigs will come rushing out of the wreckage. They'll also each be wearing a cute little hat on top of their pink pig heads.

Quest For The Holy Grail

If you come across a hidden cave you can find near a place called Benek, you might be able to find something familiar by exploring around it. At its entrance, you'll find a pile of bones, mainly comprised of skulls and human bodies. Further inspection will uncover a white rabbit among the blood, flesh, and marrow. This is a direct reference to the killer rabbit featured in the iconic film Monty Python's Quest For The Holy Grail. Subtle are great because they refer without destroying the immersion of the game.

End Of A Rainbow

Very rarely will games feature that are missable, but this is one players must check out before they plant the beans in the Blood & Wine expansion. This fairy tale world has a beautiful rainbow cascading across its skies, but this game gives you the chance to reach the end of it. As expected players who make it to the end are greeted with the reward of a pot of gold. Instead of a leprechaun, those who interact with it will be met with the appearance and release of a panther.

Fight Club

is beloved for many reasons, one of the more prominent being the amazing side quests the game featured. They felt less like filler, and more so like optional stories that helped with world-building. The Fist of Fury sidequest in Novigrad has Geralt entering a fighting tournament of sorts. His final opponent, if he reaches the finals, goes by the name Durden the Tailor. The name and his place in the game are a nod to the famous machismo flick known as Fight Club.

In the game, players can come across a blacksmith who goes by the name Hattori, an obvious reference to the man who made the sword Uma Thurman's character uses. The name Hattori Honzo belongs to the real legendary Japanese ninja who made a name for himself and created a legacy that's lived on for years.

Hansel & Gretel is a fairy tale as old as time, so it shouldn't come as a surprise that it appears in the Blood & Wine expansion. The land explores in the expansion is teeming with references and easter eggs calling out childhood tales and classic bedtime stories. Geralt can come across Syanna, a person trying to rescue Hansel from the control of a wicked witch. Everyone knows where the story unfolds from there as it remains true that witches will always work hard to capture little children in the middle of the woods.

Doctor Who Weeping Angels

Doctor Who is likely the most popular series that most people reading this haven't seen. It is known for having impressive longevity as a series, and a heart to the show that's unmatched. It's had its fair share of scares in it, but nothing comes close to the Weeping Angels. They're stone monsters that move when you take your eyes off of them. They can be found in the game at almost all of the substantial cemeteries you can come across as you traverse the world as Geralt on Roach's back.
