Starting The Quest

To initiate this quest the player will need to find Mordecai in Devil’s Razor. He’s found in Boomtown in the northern central part of the map. The player will need to be at least level 27 and have completed the quest Boom Boom Boomtown. The player will want to have a standard grenade mod on them, a highly accurate high fire rate like an Assault Rifle though a Submachine gun or Pistol can be useful alternatives. When the player is ready and has met the requirements they simply need to speak to Mordecai.

Flowers

The first step of the quest is to gather flowers prior to meeting Mordecai at the site of the birthday party. This part is really easy as the game provides waypoints to locate the flowers. Once the player has obtained five flowers they’ll be directed to meet Mordecai at The Lonely Pillar. At the Lonely Pillar, Mordecai will be waiting with Grace’s father Hirschim by her grave. The player will be asked to place flowers on the grave and speak with both Hirschim and Mordecai who explain Grace was killed by Varkids and the party is in remembrance of her.

Have Some Cake

The next part of the quest the player with eating some cake. Hirschim will brag that his daughter was capable of eating 11 slices of cake within a certain time frame. He challenges the player to try and beat her by running around the area gathering slices of cake and eating them. The player has the option of intentionally not beating Grace's record and only eating two slices. Doing this will please Hirschim and the party will proceed.

Break Grace s Cake Record

On the other hand, the player has the option to beat Grace’s record by eating at least 12 slices of cake. This shouldn’t be too difficult as the cake slices aren’t too far away, but the time requirement is a bit tight. It’s recommended the player attempt this a few times to become familiar with where the slices are to ensure they collect them as efficiently as possible. If the player succeeds Hirschim and Mordecai will be disgusted by the player’s selfishness and the party will proceed.

Throw Grenades

The next phase of the party is the grenade throw. There will be several target rings set up for the player to toss grenades into. Hirschim will comment on Grace’s record of 50 points and challenge the player to beat that record. Like with the cake eating the player can opt to avoid breaking the record. To do this the player merely needs to obtain at least five points and tell Hirschim they’re too tired. Doing so will please Hirschim and Mordecai and the party continues.

Break Grace s Grenade Record

The player can alternatively beat Grace’s record by scoring 50 points. This shouldn’t be too difficult to accomplish, but the player will need to be fairly accurate with the grenades. As a result, the player should be careful to remove any grenade mods that might make them bounce around or fly into the air. The player will need to score above 50 to break Grace’s record. A nearby ammo vending machine helps if the player runs out of grenades. Doing so will irritate Hirschim and upset Mordecai, but the party will proceed regardless.

Shooting Challenge

The final challenge will be to shoot down several Rakk. Hirschim explains that Grace’s record is 30 Rakk. This time the player will be competing against Mordecai. While this seems to imply the player needs to beat Mordecai it’s a red herring. In actuality, it doesn’t matter how many Rakk the player kills so long as it’s less than Grace’s record of 30. Once the player shoots however many they want and the timer runs out Hirschim wand Mordecai will be pleased by the player not breaking Grace’s record and continue to the next part of the party.

Break Grace s Shooting Record

Of course, if the player wants to break the record they’ll have to get more than 30 Rakk and make sure to beat Mordecai, though this shouldn’t be too hard. Having an Assault Rifle as mentioned before will help make this challenge easier, though any high fire rate with decent damage will do. Getting more than 30 Rakk will beat Grace’s record leaving Hisrchim and Mordecai upset at the player. Even so, they’ll continue the party.

Break The Pinata

Now that the challenges have been complete the player will talk to Hirschim for a little while about Grace. To end the party Hirschim will ask the player to destroy the nearby Pinata. There aren’t any special tricks of catches involved with this request. The player simply needs to walk up and bludgeon the Pinata and end the party.

The Reward

If the player didn’t break any of the records Hirschim will gladly hand over his daughter's weapon Amazing Grace. It’s a legendary pistol that gives consistent critical shots, it is a great option for FL4K with a skill like Fade Away that can be benefited by weapons with high critical hit rates. If the player beat all the records he’ll hand over the gun irritably. The player will also get the rare mod Bouncy Exterminator. It deals 100% increased damage to and Spiderants. There’s also a decent payout with a bump in experience. It’s up to the player if they want to appease the grieving father or obtain bonus rewards for completing the quest.
