God Of War 10 Godlike Characters Kratos Can Beat

Kratos always seems to pop up in "who would win" conversations, and we're here to examine how far his godlike powers could take him in a fight. Playstation has truly debuted some iconic and memorable characters in its lifetime. There is no question that Kratos from the series is truly a force to be reckoned with. After beating up pretty much every Greek God and mythological figure your history teacher has taught you, Kratos went to the Scandinavian lands, where, you guessed it, he beat the crap out of everyone there too-with just a little help from his son, Atreus. In the future, we will definitely see this god overcome more challenges and obstacles on his bloody path. We just hope the Bifrost Realms are prepared-which they aren't. Ragnarok should be the least of the if Kratos is still breathing. We have witnessed the dismantling of many gods, giants, and beasts with Kratos's hands. How would he fare against other godlike entities? We take a look at the godlike characters from comics, games, and movies, to see if they could survive or just be another body in Kratos' massive graveyard. Updated August 21, 2021 by Ritwik Mitra: Kratos is easily one of the angriest and most powerful characters in video game history. The sheer brutality with which he absolutely destroys his opponents is oddly hypnotic and makes for some of the most memorable moments in gaming history. With the character's foray into Norse mythology being nothing short of a resounding success, most gamers have already started comparing his power levels to other mythical figures. This discussion has led to the mention of the following god-like figures who would get absolutely obliterated by the God of War. THEGAMER VIDEO OF THE DAY

Solas Dragon Age Inquisition

For the longest time, Solas seemed like a loyal companion who could help the Inquisitor as they dealt with the various enemies that tried to stop them in their tracks. However, as the story evolved, players finally realized that Solas was actually a betrayer who wanted to secure the power of the gods for himself. While he was successful in this goal, he still can't hold a candle to the might of Kratos. The God of War won't even flinch, even if Solas casts the most powerful magic spells in his arsenal. One swing of his Leviathan Axe is all that would be required to put the elven mage down for the count.

Bayonetta Bayonetta

is easily one of the greatest action game franchises around, with the bulk of its popularity attributed to the titular protagonist whose charming personality never fails to take center stage. Watching this Umbra Witch lay waste to the enemies in her path never fails to be entertaining. However, regardless of how much of a fan-favorite Bayonetta's character might be, even her most devout followers wouldn't go so far as to say that she can survive a fight with Kratos. Her fancy moves and agility might be a valuable asset in this battle, but Kratos is simply cut from a different cloth and will waste no time in dishing out some serious damage.

Cole MacGrath Infamous

After an unfortunate incident leads to Cole MacGrath gaining a wealth of electric superpowers, he decides to get to the bottom of this mystery and destroy any enemies that lie in his path. This leads to the protagonist of the Infamous series embarking on a journey where he uses his destructive electrical powers to great effect... although whether it's for good or bad is anybody's guess. However, all the electricity in the world won't be enough for this character to stop Kratos in his path. If anything, it won't take long for the God of War to close the distance and negate the long-distance advantage that Cole has, leading to a beatdown that might be hard to watch if it ever came to pass.

Chernabog Fantasia

Although his role in Disney movies is minor, for the brand simply for his lone iconic appearance. While there isn't much to go by, we do know that this God of Evil has two major weaknesses; church bells and more importantly for Kratos, sunlight. If Kratos still carries around Helios' disembodied head from God Of War 3, one solar flare into the face of Chernabog should be enough to send him packing.

Shinnok Mortal Kombat

A fallen Elder God who has ruled over Mortal Kombat's version of Hell for many years, Shinnok is one of the most powerful warriors in the franchise. The former God of War Kratos though would have a field day with Shinnok. Although Shinnok has competed with other violent gods before, he's never met somebody with the sheer ferocity and determination of Kratos. While Shinnok has many tricks up his sleeve and can likely manipulate Kratos in a long-term struggle, Kratos' blades would rip Shinnok apart in a one-off battle.

Thor God Of War

Oh, we can't wait to see these two battle in the sequel. We doubt if these two are going to chill out at a pub and have a few ales after what Kratos has done in . Thor, or Thor Odinson, is the God of Thunder, who wields his trusty hammer, Mjölnir. If anyone can get down and dirty with him, it's Kratos. While Thor possesses incredible strength, speed, and power. Kratos can go toe-toe with him, just as proven in the fight against his seemly invincible brother, Baldur.

Aang Avatar The Last Airbender

Aang is the main character of the beloved animation series Avatar: The Last Airbender. Mastering the four elements of earth, fire, water, and air. He is powerful with agility and skills to match. This would be a good fight, but Kratos would come out on top. Kratos has an array of magical abilities to protect him, as well as experience against elemental entities like Poseidon and Ares that gives him the insight necessary to win. Holding back Aang is his sense of morality, but he does have The Avatar State as his trump card, which, if Aang was in any dire situation, he can utilize to harness raw power and near unlimited bending capabilities. However, the edge goes to Kratos, as he possesses bigger strength, killer mentality, elemental prowess, and magical abilities and items that can trump the Avatar.

Raiden Mortal Kombat

Finish Him! That's exactly what we will hear after Kratos disposes of Raiden in . You probably did that when he was a playable character on the PS3 version of Mortal Kombat (2011). Rightfully so, as Kratos has the power to go up against the Earthrealm Defenders, Outworld Rulers, and even the Elder Gods. Raiden has lost to powerful foes such as Shao Khan (who lost to the mortal Liu Kang), it wouldn't be a stretch to think that Kratos can topple the god, as well. Again, back to the argument with Thor, Kratos literally beat Zeus. He would make short work of Raiden.

Wonder Woman DC

Wonder Woman is an Amazonian from the lands of Themyscira. Wonder Woman possesses many abilities such as flight, super strength, durability, speed, and agility. As well as magic-infused weapons like the Lasso Of Truth, Sword of Athena, and Bracelets of Submission. Wonder Woman has challenged and beaten gods like Ares, and became the God of War, just like Kratos, which makes this matchup interesting. However, we give Kratos the upper hand with in his arsenal, including the Blade of Olympus capable of killing her. Kratos also defeated other spawns of Zeus from Hercules to Perseus and Zeus himself, which we would think a battle against Diana will end in the same result - death.

Ganon The Legend Of Zelda

Now, this is a doozie. We know Ganon really can't be killed by Kratos because he doesn't possess Light Arrows or the iconic Master Sword, both blessed by the spirits of . However, in a straight-up fight, Kratos can wash Ganon in basically any form Ganon desires. Kratos has faced off against titans, gods, and trolls before, so Ganon wouldn't be new to the formula. All he needs to do is find where the Master Sword is held, and he'll make sure Ganon doesn't get resurrected again.
