THEGAMER VIDEO OF THE DAY

Grookey ISFJ

Grookey is a Pokémon that lives life to the beat of his own drum, almost literally. This little guy uses sticks to tap out a rhythm that has been known to revitalize plants in the area. When not making music it uses them to defend itself, growing stronger with each strike. Grookey is a good choice for ISFJ types given it can act as both protector and nurturer using the same powers. ISFJs will enjoy having a Pokémon that can help the plant life around them and also ward off any hostile Pokémon that may show up.

Scorbunny ISFP

Scorbunny is a Pokémon that thrives when living an active lifestyle. As it runs and exercises, it essentially becomes charged with energy and at full power can devastate enemies using its fire abilities. ISFPs will benefit from having a Pokémon that needs to run around and play often, while Scorbunny will thrive under the spontaneous and active lifestyle ISFPs bring.

Sobble INFP

Sobbles are interesting creatures in that they’re very emotional. It doesn’t take much to set them off and once they start crying, it takes considerable effort to stop them. That being said, the Sobble’s emotion is its greatest tool in battle. An INFP would probably be the best personality type to manage a Sobble. Sobbles are really jittery and INFP types are calm and relaxed enough to keep them stable and, more importantly, bring them back down after their emotions become heightened in battle.

Corviknight ENTP

Corviknights are fierce-looking Pokémon that are brutal in battle thanks to their armored feathers. They also possess a cunning intelligence that makes them wicked fighters, but also capable of handling more complex tasks like running an airborne taxi service. ENTPs will enjoy this adaptable and clever Pokémon. Finding ways to keep themselves and their Corviknight mentally stimulated will be a challenge they will enjoy rising up to. Training a standard Pokémon is hard enough, training the intimidating Corviknight will be a much more challenging puzzle.

Obstagoon ENTJ

Obstagoons are absolute brutes in battle. They’re brimming with power and their shouts can devastate even the toughest opponents. These are Linoones that have been through the wringer and come out stronger for it. ENTJs will appreciate the hardiness and resilience of these proud creatures. Given they see life as a series of challenges that make them stronger, having a Pokémon who embodies this belief would be a real motivation. It would also take someone with a firm hand and nerves of steel to keep a Pokémon like Obstagoon under control and well-behaved.

Yamper ESJF

These cute and cuddly dog-like Pokémon are gluttons for treats. They’ll happily assist with various tasks if it means there is a tasty morsel waiting at the end for them. In spite of their chubby appearances, they’re very athletic and brimming with energy that only grows as they run and perform tasks. ESJFs will get a kick out of keeping Yampers active and happy. They have the kindness and compassion to ensure that the little guy is properly rewarded for his hard work but will also make sure they burn off those calories to stay healthy as they consume copious amounts of treats.

Sirfetch d ISTJ

It takes a lot of experience and training for a Farfetch’d to evolve into Sirfetch’d. The Galarian Pokedex explains that only a Farfetch’d who has seen and overcome numerous battles can evolve into this noble creature. Having one is a testament to the trainer's skill and the Pokémon’s determination. This is something an ISTJ would be able to handle. This serious and hardworking personality type would be capable of seeing their Farfetch’d through numerous battles without putting it in harm’s way. And once it becomes a Sifetch’d, the trainers are sure to use it responsibly and tactically in battle.

Mr Rime ESFP

Mr. Rime is a showman in every sense of the word. Off the battlefield, it is a skilled tap dancer and can entertain and enthrall audiences. On the battlefield, it uses those same maneuvers to bewitch and attack opponents. This showboat is the kind of Pokémon that would be good for an ESFP. This charming personality type enjoys the limelight and attention, and having a Mr. Rime on their roster would make them stand out in Pokémon battles and tournaments.

Zacian ENFP

Zacian is a tasked with fighting evil Pokémon and keeping the Galarian region safe. Wielding a mighty sword, Zacian considers its duty to be of utmost importance and, consequently, slumbers between battles to ensure it has the energy it needs to do the job properly. An ENFP would love having this honorable creature on their side. It is a powerful Pokémon tasked with an important mission to protect the world and those in it, something an ENFP would thrive at and find fulfillment in.

Zamazenta INTJ

Zamazenta is another legendary Pokémon charged with fighting evil, though, in this creature’s case, it does so by standing as a shield, literally and figuratively, against any who threaten the Galar region. This Pokémon will bravely take the blows that would kill or maim lesser creatures and boldly protect those behind it. INTJs will be drawn to this creature and its self-sacrificing ways. It takes a strategic and clever trainer to use a largely offensively in battle and achieve victory, something an INTJ will enjoy puzzling out before and during combat.
