Hey Nintendo Where s Mario Golf

As more popular Mario titles get Nintendo Switch remakes, many fans are left wondering when Mario Golf will return. Via: Nintendo It seems like 2020 is going to be an important year for Mario. The eponymous plumber of Nintendo’s flagship franchise is getting a variety of games, new and old, to celebrate the mustachioed hero’s 35-year anniversary. Popular games such as Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine, and Super Mario Galaxy have confirmed Switch remakes coming out in 2020, but real Mario fans are still wondering one thing. Where’s Mario Golf? Mario Golf would be the perfect game to revamp for the Switch. It was originally released for the Nintendo 64, which means it is high time for a graphical update. The game was rereleased on the Wii as a Virtual Console game in 2012 and was then, as well. Not everything held up – the graphics of a game that appeared on the Nintendo 64 and Game Boy Color aren’t going to look good over a decade later – but at its core it’s still an entertaining golf game. Luckily, the parts of the game that have aged poorly are the parts that would be updated in a remaster of Mario Golf. The core game is there, and a fresh coat of paint – new graphics and an updated engine – would improve the game drastically. There hasn’t been a new Mario Golf game since Mario Golf: World Tour on the 3DS, so why not give some love to the original? The Mario remasters that have been announced are exciting main series games, but not all the details have been confirmed. Hopefully Nintendo will give some attention to some more peripheral Mario games, especially the best of the Mario sports games.
