Ampharos Charge Beam & Zap Cannon

Ampharos is an adorable Pokemon that can pack quite a punch when needed. With a quick attack of Charge Beam and the main attack of Zap Cannon, Ampharos benefits from the same type attack bonus, meaning that these hits are 20% more powerful. Firstly, Charge Beam does a rather small 8.7 damage per second, which may not seem like much but when you take into consideration the buffs it gives Ampharos, it all becomes worth it. With Charge Beam under your belt, you'll get a 70% chance of raising Ampharos' Special Attack by one potentially game-changing stage. Secondly, Zap Cannon is hugely powerful. With a DPS of 45.4, and only using up a minimal 27 EPS, it is the most powerful moveset Ampharos can have, and the most desired. Unfortunately, this moveset isn't the easiest to get hold of. It only becomes available in and after Gen IV and can be found in different places depending on the type of game, however, it can only be brought in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky, Gates To Infinity, and Super Mystery Dungeon. As for Zap Cannon, it can be achieved through level in Gen VI and VII but will need to be found in Gen II. Unfortunately, it's not available for Ampharos in any of the other gens. For Pokemon Go, it's all about using the Fast TM's or the Charged TM's.

Raichu Volt Switch & Wild Charge

Volt Switch is an extremely popular electric-type quick attack. That's mainly due to the huge amount of energy it builds up. As for Wild Charge, although it isn't the most powerful main attack that Raichu can use, it's definitely the one that's worth it. Raichu is a bit more powerful than Pikachu if players can deal with evolving him. Nevertheless, if the player does evolve him, then using Volt Switch, which has a DPS of 10.5, and Wild Charge, which does 41.5 DPS, can change the tide of the battle. It should be noted that there is the option for Thunder as the main attack, however, it just isn't worth using such a precious item. Players can find Volt Switch from Gen V onwards and is mainly a prize for defeating the likes of Elesa (Pokemon Black and White), Maison ( X and Y), or Wattson (Ruby and Sapphire). It can also be found in Mount Hokulani in Sun and Moon. This is similar to Wild Charge since players can only really find it by searching for TM93. These can be found on: Victory Road in Black and White Kiloude City Poké Mart in X And Y Safari Zone in Ruby And Sapphire Route 15 in Sun And Moon Vast Poni Canyon in Ultra Sun And Moon Wyndon in Sword And Shield

Magneton Spark & Zap Cannon

These are the most powerful attacks that Magneton has, and with the use of the same type attack bonus, he becomes a surprisingly good asset to the team. Especially since Charge has a 30% chance of paralyzing the target! Spark does less damage than Volt Switch, doing 10.3 DPS as opposed to 10.5, but that doesn't mean it is any less powerful. As it is with most quick attacks, it leads up to the Zap Cannon which does a huge 45.4 DPS, something that can quickly and effectively destroy opponents. As it is with Pokemon Go, these moves can be found by using Fast TM's or Charged TM's, or by simply catching and evolving until you get the desired match. Interestingly, this is one of the easiest moves to get hold of. Spark can be found from Gen III onwards, by simply leveling up Magneton. Zap Cannon is the same, leveling up until it's granted to you. It differs on each game but will be granted from around 53 (Gen II) to 73 (X And Y).

Manectric Snarl & Wild Charge

Although a dark type move, Manectric is better with this moveset than an electric quick attack. This is due to the 10.9 DPS it can do. However, if players want to have an all-electric moveset, then Charge Beam is an option, but it only does a tiny 8.7 DPS. As for the main attack, Wild Charge is popular and effective against most enemy Pokémon and allows the player to turn the tides of a battle and put them on top. 41.5 DPS with 19.2 EPS being used, players can just use Wild Charge as a rapid-fire attack. Wild Charge is rather simple since it can be obtained by leveling Manectric. The level ranges from 42 to 61 depending on the game, luckily it's relatively low! Snarl can only be found, it cant be leveled up. It's found in TM95 and has a lot of lore tied around it. The move begins in Gen V and can only be found by searching: Castelia City in Black And White (event-only TM) Lostlorn Forest in Black And White 2 Lost Hotel in X And Y Mirage Cave in Ruby And Sapphire Mount Hokulani in Sun And Moon/ Ultra Sun And Moon

Jolteon Thunder Shock & Thunder Bolt

It would be wrong to not include an Eevee evolution. However, with moves like these, it's impossible to not see how useful this Pokemon can actually be. Thunder Shock has a DPS of 10, which is particularly small, but as seen before it isn't the power of the quick attack that matters. It's the 13.3 EPS that players gain just by using it. That 13.3 EPS all builds up to Thunder Bolt, which deals 38.4 DPS. This is a particularly powerful attack but, it should be noted that there is a main attack called Thunder that deals 50 DPS. However, it also takes up 41.7 energy when used, meaning that it just isn't worth doing. Thunder Shock has to be one of the easiest moves to get hold of, especially since it's acquired through leveling Jolteon up to a max of 31 and a minimum of 1 depending on the game. For most of the later games the player only needs to evolve. However, it's not that simple for Thunder Bolt. It can be achieved by either defeating Lt. Surge in Gen 1 games, or Clemont in Pokemon X and Y. It can be brought in many of the games, specifically all Gen IV games, and Gen II games, but for the tougher games TM24 can be located in: P2 Laboratory in Black And White Victory Road in Black And White 2 Mauville City in Ruby And Sapphire Poni Pains in Sun And Moon Sandy Cave in Ultra Sun And Moon Route 12 In Let's Go Pikachu And Eevee

Zapdos Thunder Shock & Thunder Bolt

It is rather shocking to see a legendary Pokemon with such low attacks. However, it can still do some rather impressive damage, depending on the play style. If players were looking for an attacking Pokemon, then they should be looking at Thunder Shock and Thunder Bolt which do 10 DPS and 38.4 DPS respectively. However, for this Pokemon, Thunder Shock is an Elite Tm. If players were going for a more defensive position then it's recommended that you opt for Charge Beam and Zap Cannon. Charge Beam deals a small 8.7 DPS but adds 13.6 EPS which prepares for the 45.4 DPS from Zap Cannon. For the most part, getting hold of Thunder Shock for Zapdos is a given with it usually being achieved at level 1, or level 5 in Gen VIII. As for Thunder Bolt, it really depends on the game. For the lucky ones with a Gen VII game, this move can be achieved at level 32. For anyone else TM24 can be found as a prize for defeating Lt. Surge in Gen 1 or Clemont in Gen VI. It can also be brought in all Gen III and Gen IV games. Otherwise, it can be found in: P2 Laboratory in Black And White Victory Road in Black And White 2 Mauville City in Ruby And Sapphire Poni Pains in Sun And Moon Sandy Cave in Ultra Sun And Moon Route 12 In Let's Go Pikachu And Eevee

Luxray Snarl & Wild Charge

As seen with Manectric, Snarl is extremely useful and particularly powerful, the best one that it can have. With a DPS of 10.9, it is the most powerful attack to choose and builds enough energy to use Wild Charge a ridiculous amount of times, winning the battle. If anyone is looking for purely electric attacks then choose Spark, it uses 10.3 DPS but is just slightly less powerful. Found in TM95 and TM85 (Gen VIII), Snarl can be found in Gen V, VI, and VII and is only located, not battled for. Nevertheless, it can be found in: Castelia City in Black And White (event-only TM) Lostlorn Forest in Black And White 2 Lost Hotel in X And Y Mirage Cave in Ruby And Sapphire Mount Hokulani in Sun And Moon/ Ultra Sun And Moon As for Wild Charge, Manectric only needs to level up to get hold of this powerful move. It's different for each generation but at an average of 42 to 61, it shouldn't take too long.

Magnezone Spark & Wild Charge

Wild Charge is the most popular main attack when it comes to electric-types, and rightly so. Although it isn't the most powerful, with it only doing 41.5 DPS as opposed to Thunder's 50 DPS, when it comes down to it the total damage dealt, Wild Charge is worth having. It has a short reload and allows players to just throw it at the enemy countless times. As for Spark, not only does the player benefit from the same type attack bonus, but it deals with 10.5 DPS and restores a huge 12.9 EPS, making it the perfect combination for Magnezone. Spark is obtained by leveling up to the early 20s, making it pretty easy to get hold of in Gen IV onwards. Unfortunately, Wild Charge isn't as easy for Magnezone as the player needs to find it in TM93 or TR86 if it's Gen VIII. They can be found in locations such as: Victory Road in Black And White (both editions) Kiloude City Poké Mart in X And Y Safari Zone in Ruby And Sapphire Route 15 in Sun And Moon Vast Poni Canyon in Ultra Sun And Moon

Raikou Volt Switch & Wild Charge

Volt Switch doesn't do as much damage as an attack like Snarl but it can still pack a pretty good punch. Volt Switch has a DPS of 10.5 and along with the 41.5 DPS that comes with Wild Charge. What puts Raikou above the rest is his legendary status and the 3,452 max CP that he can come with. It's all well and good putting a Pokemon into a battle with the right moveset, but if they don't have the CP or the HP then they have no chance against one that does. Looking for TM 72 is what will get the player access to Volt Switch. Luckily it is mainly found by battling Elesa in Pokemon Black And White or fighting Wattson or Maison in Gen VI games. However, it can also be found in Mount Hokulani for Gen VII games. As for Wild Charge, TM93 is the one to look for and can be obtained in: Victory Road in Black And White (both editions) Kiloude City Poké Mart in X And Y Safari Zone in Ruby And Sapphire Route 15 in Sun And Moon Vast Poni Canyon in Ultra Sun And Moon

Electivire Thunder Shock & Wild Charge

Lastly is Electivire. This Pokemon is a little harder to get since players need a Sinnoh Stone to fully evolve it, however, once evolved, he becomes one of the strongest electric-type Pokemon in Pokemon Go. The reason for this is due to the combination of the best electric attacks in the game, followed by the same type attack bonus and the huge base stats he has. With an attack of 249, as opposed to Raikou's 241, Electivire is an extremely powerful choice, and this is the best moveset to use. For Electivire, Thunder Shock can be obtained by leveling up to around level 7 for the most part. It's pretty easy to get hold of but isn't available in Gen I, II, or III. As for Wild Charge, it's the same as the likes of Raikou and Magnezone, meaning the player will more than likely have to get hold of a few or choose between these suggestions.
