Aries March 21 - April 19 Sidon

Prince Sidon is as much royalty as he is a meme, being an eager and positive Zora who’s unsettlingly charming and friendly when players meet him. He’s most recognizable for his impressive muscles, but beyond that is a bright spot in this treacherous journey. This eagerness and optimism suits an Aries, who'll be quick to call anyone they meet their best friend. They can definitely fall on their face from time to time, but they’re quick to shake off embarrassment and don't think it's worthwhile to feel ashamed.

Taurus April 20 - May 20 Revali

Revali doesn't get a ton of depth in the story, being a fellow champion in the prior century. But in the cutscenes of the memories before the Great Calamity, it's clear that he's a plenty talented archer despite being a tad condescending. A Taurus can often act just like him far too often, putting themselves on a pedestal and refusing to give anyone else the time of day. They’re certainly deserving of recognition for their enviable effort and persistence, but if anyone ever tries to kick them down be ready for a lot of stubborn denial.

Gemini May 21 - June 20 Kass

Kass is more a helpful aid than a plot character, playing his massive accordion for the player at various stables and giving players hints of where to find certain shrines. Besides his sweet music is a massive muscular stature, making him the least forgettable bard everyone will ever encounter. While not always musical or muscular, Geminis will typically light up the room just like him, wishing to distract from the stress or tension a group might have. They’re incredibly reliable for this, even if it comes at the cost of being a tad immature in serious moments.

Cancer June 21 - July 22 Yunobo

This descendant of the Goron champion has a unique degree of pressure compared to the other characters. He’s much more youthful than the , and while he has the power of his Champion elder he’s easily frightened as the player rescues him from a cave. This combination of fear and bravery is easily recognizable by Cancers, who can swing very quickly between positive and negative emotions. They might come across as moody or temperamental to strangers, but anyone who knows one closely knows they can be assertive and serious when need be.

Leo July 23 - August 22 Daruk

Yunobo could not be more different from his elder Daruk, who replaces all of that anxiousness with raw machismo and showmanship. He’s a close friend to Link who’s incredibly excitable and talkative, and more than proud to be a hero to his people. Leos thrive on this sort of presence, wanting to be the center of attention in public and also an emotionally supportive friend in private. They can always admit to their faults, but they’re going to always spend a little too much time covering and repairing from their mistakes.

Virgo August 23 - September 22 Zelda

Unlike many other games in the series, is much more of a protective leader than an average princess. She’s determined to find ways to keep Hyrule safe, to a point of self-sacrifice as she seals herself and Calamity Ganon together to keep her homeland safe. Virgos can be just as protective, wanting to do all they can to take care of family, friends, or even themselves, and they can get immensely stressed if they don’t feel perfectly secure.

Libra September 23 - October 22 Link

While Zelda puts herself on the line before the cataclysm, Link is the one who works to rescue Hyrule. Link is firm in his duty as Zelda’s knight, and is determined to ensure that her sealing of Calamity Ganon isn’t in vain. Libras wish to balance their world as much as Link wishes to rebalance Hyrule, feeling dissatisfaction when themselves and others are treated unfairly. Maintaining peace and equality is their greatest goal, and it drives them to have a good eye for those in need of help.

Scorpio October 23 - November 21 Riju

Gerudos are seen often as warriors, but Riju stands out as both a leader and a child among her home in the desert. She's exceptionally perceptive and accepting of others, and her recognition of Link’s good intentions helps save her kingdom from the Divine Beast. Scorpios can easily relate to this perceptiveness, having a great eye for what the cleanest solution is to any problem. The intensity inside them can make them seem cold and cutthroat, but in reality, they just aren’t afraid to do something unpopular for the greater good.

Sagittarius November 22 - December 21 Beedle

Beedle might not be one of the most plot-centric characters of the game, but he’s certainly a lovable character and familiar face. His nervous self is just there to help and make an honest living, and is one of very few returning characters from . Sagittariuses are similarly recurrent, drifting between friend groups while rarely being too close with any of them. This doesn't mean they can't be intimate with others, but too much consistency can lead them to anxiety and self-doubt, so it helps to let them travel and take their space.

Capricorn December 22 - January 19 Teba

Teba is by far the most parental of all the characters players meet, being a mother and wife alongside an impressive flier and archer. That said, she’s not protective, as she is ambitious for her family, and her biggest hope is for her son to be as skilled and adored as Revali someday. Capricorns can be deceptively serious just like Teba, having wholesome goals in life while working a little too hard to get there. Just because they’re serious, though, doesn’t mean they’re cold, and they’re always good at channeling that intensity into something productive.

Aquarius January 20 - February 18 Urbosa

Riju is very much a woman of her people, but Urbosa is uniquely independent compared to the other Gerudos players meet. was the elder of the champions, being close friends with Zelda’s mother before her death and feeling blame for Ganon’s rampage since he was born in her territory. An Aquarius can be equally independent, but more out of choice than circumstance. That said, both Urbosa and Aquarius feel comfortable with solitude to keep in control of their temper and lives, and as a result, they can be more self-confident than any other sign.

Pisces February 19 - March 20 Mipha

Of all the original Champions of Hyrule, Mipha is by far the most in tune with her emotions. She’s not too direct with her admiration of Link, but still makes armor for him with the intent to give it to him upon marriage, and isn’t ashamed of her feelings regardless of how he might respond. Pisces can be proud of their emotions too, and while they might not give a loved one armor, they have plenty of emotional support to give. This can lead them to feel guilty or longing, but they have no problem putting their anxieties aside to let a friend lean on them.
