10 Unresolved Mysteries And Plot Holes Deadly Premonition Left Hanging

Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing In Disguise has a lot of explaining to do. With so many plot threads not explained in the original, we need answers. Where is 2020's first big Nintendo Direct? Quit holding out Nintendo! Don't worry, that rant has a tie-in to today's subject because the last full, main Nintendo Direct that wasn't focused on just one game was last September. In this presentation was a bombshell. After ten years, to celebrate tenth anniversary in 2020, it would finally get a sequel on Switch. Not only that, but the original game was released as a , of sorts, on the eShop the very same day. When will this sequel launch and can it actually hit 2020? The Other Red Seed Murders

York is brought to Greenvale because he had a hunch the murder of Anna Graham was connected to something else he was working on. In similar cases, he found red seeds on the bodies of victims. What these seeds do is a key component of this game's narrative, which sort of gets explained by the end. What doesn't are the other murders. Did Forrest Kaysen commit the other murders on his travels, or did he have more friends, like George, to do his bidding across the country? Dollars to donuts this will be a big plot point in the sequel.

That s Not How Split Personalities Work

For those unaware, Jarnbjorn is the name of Thor's axe, and George somehow has it. Let's look at the facts. He can throw that thing and it always comes back to him much like Thor’s hammer, Mjolnir. When he becomes a grotesque monster with arms the size of tree trunks, he still uses the axe, which can then be assumed to more powerful than even his beefy arms. Where did this thing come from and is it really magical? Is Forrest some sort of blacksmith too?

Willie And The Doll

The doll leads to the biggest mystery left hanging at the end of the game. When Zach is shown leaving Greenvale, Willie, Forrest's dog, comes out from behind the bridge carrying the doll of him. His eyes are shadowed, which one could deduce is because the doll, possibly Forrest himself, has now possessed Willie. If it wasn't obvious by the last entry, then this part confirms that something is up with that doll.
