E3 2018 has come and gone and, with it, we received a lot of announcements regarding games that developers and companies have in the pipeline for the foreseeable. On top of your standard Assassin’s Creed, Anthem, and other AAA multi-platform games, there were several console exclusive games that were shown off. These are the titles that each console maker will use to try and push their system over the others. Microsoft has a lot of games in the pipeline, but not a lot of them are exclusives. Most of their heavy hitters are going to come next year, but they’ve still a few tricks up their sleeve left over. Sony has some fantastic exclusives, but not much new to show. Some of their big hits will be releasing before the end of this year, but then they’ve only got a handful of titles to play around with. Nintendo, still in the early phase of the Switch, have several exclusive games planned, for this year and next. Most of their announcements were centered around what players can expect this year. With each of these companies bringing their all to the rest of 2018, it’ll be interesting to see who comes out on top. If you haven’t already made a console purchase, are any of these games going to win you over? Get hyped as we go through 10 Xbox One, 10 PS4, and 10 Nintendo Switch exclusive games that are coming to stores before the end of the year. THEGAMER VIDEO OF THE DAY

Xbox Forza Horizon 4

via windowscentral.com Forza Horizon 3 is one of the best racing games of all time. Exploring the vast world with beautiful graphics and realistic controls make it a fun experience from start to finish. Not to mention there is some excellent DLC for the game. Forza Horizon 4 looks to bring more of the same to the series, but it looks graphically better and will have more content to explore and drive around. Racing fans will not want to miss this one.

PlayStation Marvel s Spider-Man

via otakukart.com Insomniac's Spider-Man game has looked great from the very start. Everything from how the game looks to the way Spider-Man can swing around New York have all been extremely awe-inspiring. The game is set for September, and fans couldn't be more excited. With a version of the Sinister Six coming to take on the web head, the story will be just as much about Spider-Man as it is about Peter Parker. Bring in some other appearances from Miles Morales and some Avengers, and you've created a game worth talking about.

Switch Super Mario Party

via imore.com After years of the Mario Party series losing its way and shoving all of its players in a silly car, it seems that Nintendo has finally heard our complaints and is returning back to the roots of the franchise with a few added mechanics for good measure. Super Mario Party will have players roam independently on a board, collecting coins, purchasing stars, and competing in mini-games. With some added RPG elements and some cool uses of the Switch's tablet mode, there's a lot to look forward to when it releases in October.

Xbox Below

via xbox.com A game teased since the start of the Xbox One’s life cycle, Below has been delayed long enough and is finally nearing release. The game is a roguelike survival game where you adventure in mysterious lands and look for supplies to help you survive the wild. Not only is Below looking like one of the most visually pleasing games on the console, but it’s getting several enhancements for those who own an Xbox One X. It looks astounding in 4K.

PlayStation Days Gone

via trustedreviews.com If you combined an open-world game with The Last of Us, you'd end up with something that looks like Days Gone. Placing you in a world teeming with vicious monsters and people that want to end you, there seems to be nowhere to hide. What makes Days Gone such an exciting title is that, when a zombie horde comes to hunt you, they come like a swarm of bad insects. They are vicious, fast, and won't stop until you're ended. It's that level of fear that makes us ready to play it in February.

Switch Light Fingers

via lightfingersgame.com Everything interesting about Light Fingers is its context. A group of thieves go out for a night of pillaging, then return to their home. They choose to pass the time by playing a board game called Light Fingers. This is where you'll actually be playing the game. You'll go on bite-sized adventures with new obstacles and twists to overcome. Combining a board game with dice rolls and an adventure game is an extremely unique concept that we'll be excited to see unfold later this year.

Xbox The Last Night

via engadget.com Pixel art has never looked so good. The Last Night does its darn best to convince you that you’re playing a game with regular graphics, and that’s a compliment of the highest order. The game places you in a world where machines have taken over. You take the role of a man who has to go through town and get involved in gunfights and stealth missions. Taking a 2.5D perspective, the game will likely be more linear, and give the opportunity for some awe-inspiring moments to happen.

PlayStation Dragon Quest XI Echoes Of An Elusive Age

via usgamer.com Square Enix's Dragon Quest series has captivated players for years, with each entry providing something new and exciting to experience. Their next release is Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age. This game will be bigger, more beautiful, and more packed with content than any game before it. While it is set to release on Nintendo Switch as well, that version has no release date (delays) while the PS4 version is a timed exclusive, coming out in September of this year.

Switch Captain Toad Treasure Tracker

via polygon.com Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker is an adorably fun puzzle game that released back on the Wii U. It's now coming to the Nintendo Switch with an upscale to 1080p and a few stages based on Super Mario Odyssey. Fans of a more casual and thought-provoking experience will have a lot of fun with this title. It's cute, pleasing to look at, and extremely fun. On top of that, it will only release at the cost of $39.99 when it comes out in early July.

Xbox Ashen

via ashen-game.com Ashen is a game that looks so unique and interesting that anyone who gazes on it immediately wants to play it. It is an action/survival game where you have to survive the wild. However, it’s not nature that you have to worry about. The world of Ashen is plagued with nightmarish creatures that will do whatever it takes to make sure you’re ended. You can decide to bring people to your camp for strength in numbers, but you have to be careful with whom you trust.

PlayStation Concrete Genie

via playstation.com Concrete Genie puts you in the shoes of a bullied, young boy who is really good at art. After stumbling across a magic paintbrush, you are tasked with taking the drab walls of the city and painting living artwork on them. You can draw creatures that interact with you and the world, water that really moves, and vines that crawl up buildings. It's a gorgeous game and one that looks extremely touching as well. What's better is that it's set for a 2018 release date.

Switch Starlink Star Fox Campaign

via gamercycler.net Starlink is Ubisoft's attempt at the toys-to-life craze. It's essentially a space exploration game with a more compelling story and more sophisticated combat than say, No Man's Sky. There's a direction with this title and it seems like a lot of fun. Owners of the Nintendo Switch version will be given Star Fox as a playable character with his Arwing. That will draw in a lot of fans because, if successful, Starlink could become the next-gen Star Fox game that we all craved. No, Star Fox Zero doesn't count.

Xbox Sea Of Thieves Cursed Sails Forsaken Shores

via vgr.com Sea of Thieves is Rare’s latest game and has a lot of potential with some serious problems that prevent it from being astounding. However, Microsoft refuses to give up on the game and has some hefty expansions planned for release this year. Both Cursed Sails and Forsaken Shores are prioritizing maps when they release with the goal to deliver on the pirate exploration that the game promised since day one. Sea of Thieves is getting on track with these expansions, and players should be excited.

PlayStation Dreams

via dreams.com Have you ever had a dream of a story, experience, or game that you would love to create? Those dreams can now become a reality with the game Dreams. Created by the developers of LittleBigPlanet, they have taken their mechanics and upped them to an extreme level. Dreams allows you to create and share your own experiences. Create a linear game. Create an open-world game. The choice is yours and the limit is only what you can dream up. Creative minds are going to love getting their hands on this game when it releases.

Switch Octopath Traveler

via: polygon.com Square Enix really knows how to capture the magic of a JRPG, and they've seemingly done it again with Octopath Traveler. Building a new glorious engine specifically for this game, it already oozes with the love and care the company is known for. Octopath Traveler will allow to explore a game from eight different perspectives and have them come together to fight all sorts of demons and monsters. Featuring unique gameplay as well, RPG fans are anxiously awaiting this game's release in July.

Xbox The Artful Escape

via engadget.com The Artful Escape is a 2D platformer that is completely stylized in every possible way. From the graphics to the gameplay, the game lets us know that it has a clear vision. You take the role of a musician who has to platform his way through some psychedelic and interesting levels. The only downside to The Artful Escape is that it doesn’t have an official release date, though the developers have stated that it is scheduled to drop later this year.

PlayStation Golem

via gamekult.com Golem is a PSVR game that was announced all the way back in 2015 and has suffered some serious delays since then. It's a shame too, considering how interesting the concept is and how much people want to experience it for themselves. Golem puts you in the shoes of a child confined to their room. They gain the power to create and control golems. You start exploring your room with the creatures before creating some large enough to explore ancient ruins with them. It's a fascinating concept that we would love to see.

Switch Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Torna - The Golden Country

via gadgets.ntv.com Nintendo has been on a trend recently to bring out DLC that feels like a complete experience. Between The Champion's Ballad and DK Adventure, there's a lot to respect with how they're managing DLC. That brings us to Torna, a DLC expansion to Xenoblade Chronicles 2. It's a massive story DLC that takes place before the events of the main game. You'll take control of different characters as you'll begin to experience some of the things only hinted at by Pyra. Xenoblade fans will be returning to Alrest in September.

Xbox Ori And The Will Of The Wisps

via trustedreviews.com Unfortunately, Microsoft doesn't have a lot of exclusives coming before the end of the year, so we'll be pulling from 2019's schedule. One of their biggest upcoming games is Ori and the Will of the Wisps. A sequel to Ori and the Blind Forest, this one looks bigger, more beautiful, and every bit as deep as its predecessor. That said, expect this game to have some difficult challenges along the way that make you want to throw your controller into the wall.

PlayStation Blood And Truth

via roadtovr.com Have you ever had the desire to be a spy and make your way through top secret missions? That's what Blood and Truth promises and with a violent twist. It's reminiscent of a hard-R action film, complete with lots of guns, swearing, and attitude. The key thing to remember is that this game will be on the PSVR, so it will really put you in the shoes of a tough spy. The game looks like a good time, but it's possible that it could end up disappointing due to the VR's limitations. It currently doesn't have a release date.
