So many that there's one that players might have overlooked: a weekend celebrating everything about 's Sinnoh region. If you are reading this , then you're not too late to be a part of it. There is a glut of benefits for trainers playing Pokémon GO between now and the end of the Sinnoh Celebration event from shiny debuts to easier to attain Sinnoh stones. The latter is something which has had us grinding Field Research all weekend long. We have a definitive list of every Sinnoh perks active for the event right now. Whether you haven't taken advantage of the event at all or feel like you might be missing a few of its benefits, everything below is a must-read for all trainers. First thing's first, the Sinnoh-based Pokémon that are appearing more often during the event. All three of the region's starters, Turtwig, Chimchar, and Piplup, as well as their shiny versions, should be spawning more often. They are joined by Starly, Kricketot, Cranidos, Shieldon, Buneary, Bronzor, and Gible, including shiny versions of those last three. Trainers might have also noticed receiving an increased number of 7km eggs over the weekend. There's also a chance of receiving two in one gift, but only if there is space in your inventory. 7km eggs received during the event will exclusively hatch Sinnoh region Pokémon. The full list of Pokémon that could hatch from 7km eggs this weekend is Combee, Bronzor, Gible, Budew, Riolu, Hippopotas, Mantyke, Shinx, Buizel, Cherubi, and Bonsly. Precious Sinnoh Stones
As stated above, the thing that has us personally excited about this Sinnoh event most is the ability to stock up on Sinnoh stones. There are numerous Pokémon from various generations that require Sinnoh stones to evolve, but the stones are notoriously difficult to come by. During this event, the research task "hatch 5 eggs" will reward trainers with a Sinnoh Stone. That's a lot of walking to do between now and tomorrow night, but it's totally worth it. via Future Game Releases As for the other event-specific field research, there are four other tasks, some of which will earn trainers encounters with Sinnoh-based Pokémon. "Catch 5 Kricketot" will result in a Combee encounter, using a Sinnoh Stone will earn a Cranidos encounter, and winning a raid will allow trainers the chance to catch a Hippopotas, provided it's on their list of research tasks. Last but not least, catching five Chimchar, Turtwig, or Piplup will be rewarded with 1000 Stardust. The final bonus for the event is a pretty unique one. Any Glacial, Magnetic, and Mossy Lure Modules activated between now and the end of the event will stay active for an hour rather than just 30 minutes. That's it, but remember, time's-a-wasting. As mentioned above, if you are reading this on Monday then there are only hours left to make the most of all the bonuses above.
