Fortnite's Winterfest provides a series of challenges, and one of them requires a bit of thought. Here's how (and where) to find the ice boxes. With the thirteenth day of 's Winterfest comes the thirteenth challenge: scouring the island in search of ice boxes. Fortnite has been celebrating the season of giving over the holidays via Winterfest -- a two-week-long event during which new loot is given to every player who pays a visit to the lodge on a daily basis. With new gliders, skins, emotes, and more, it has been quite the holiday season. If players have been clicking on the lodge's stocking, they'll have also been faced with new challenges. Challenge number 13 could be found in the stocking on December 30, 2019, and it's one that might have confused a few players. On the surface, it sounds pretty simple. "Search Ice Boxes (2)." The confusion has come over what an ice box actually is. Are they the big blocks of ice that players can search for loot, or the metal boxes that house ice that can also be searched for loot? THEGAMER VIDEO OF THE DAY For those still confused as to what it is they should be looking for, its the latter. The next problem is where to find them, as the ice boxes do not have fixed locations. However, we here at TheGamer recommend heading to Dirty Docks. Not only should there be more than enough ice boxes for players to complete the challenge in one round, but its proximity to the edge of the map means you shouldn't be bothered by other players. Once completed, players will be rewarded with the Polar Renegade spray. via Fortnite INTEL Players who like their challenges to be a little more well, challenging can head to Sweaty Sands or Weeping Woods in search of their ice boxes. There aren't as many at either of those locations and the chances of you running into other players is greatly increased. Plus, no matter where players head to search ice boxes, as always, there's more inside the stocking. Fortnite has been unvaulting a weapon and reintroducing an old LTM each day too. On day 13, the unvaulted weapon was the Heavy Sniper Rifle and the returning LTM was Solid Gold. Unlike the challenges, they only stick around for 24 hours, so you may have missed your chance to give them one more try. The challenges will be available to complete until Winterfest's end.
