The brand will focus mostly on visual novels, with its motto even being “It’s a novel game, so it’s fun.” Aniplex.exe already has two games in the pipeline for 2020. The Sony platform definitely appeals more to the visual novel audience than Microsoft, and Nintendo is only just now attracting that crowd with the Switch. All that said, it is noteworthy that Aniplex.exe's debut efforts will be PC-only titles. That may change in the future – it isn't too hard to port visual novels to console – but as of now they are PC exclusives.
