The game Wizard of Legend is a fun that seems simplistic at first, but has a surprising amount of depth once you get into it. As a wizard seeking to become the next Wizard of Legend you are required to battle through a ten floors of enemies to face the Council. To help you in your task you need to collect Relics which are powerful items that augment your abilities. Considering you can only use so many at any given time it’s important you equip the right ones to survive. Gold is a powerful tool in this game as it allows the player to exchange it with certain characters for useful items like health potions, upgrades, and Chaos Gems. If you find yourself lacking useful items or constantly low on health then having a stream of gold is very helpful. Glove of Midas is a relic that increases the amount of gold a player obtains by 20%. Granted it’s not helpful in combat, but afterward when you visit a shop you’ll be glad you had it. The C-99 Piggy Bank is an interesting item made by the developers at Contingent99. While in your inventory the C-99 Piggy Bank will get progressively heavier for each trial you beat. When it’s full enough for your liking or you’re simply done with it you can drop it from your inventory to break it open and get the goodies inside. You’ll receive a combination of Gold, Chaos Gems, and Health Orbs. The more floors you clear the more of each you’ll get. The amount of gold that drops will rise if you have the Glove of Midas making them a great set. Double Trouble
Double Trouble is very powerful but also very dangerous as it’s a cursed item. When wielded you’ll deal double damage to enemies, but you’ll also receive double damage making you a glass cannon. You can negate this downside somewhat by having a high level of evasion to avoid taking as many hits in the first place. It also pairs extremely well with Limited Edition Robe as that relic will cap the damage you receive at 10% of your health. If you don’t have the Limited Edition Robe or a high evasion you might want to consider not using this relic. Raspberry Cookie Box
The Raspberry Cookie Box is a very passive relic that causes Health Orbs to drop 50% more frequently. This is great if you’re running a glass cannon build and need to heal more often than normal. Honestly it works well with any build as most types can use the boost to health regeneration every now and then. That being said there are more powerful relics out there so don’t get too cozy with the cookies. It’s a simple relic with a great bonus that can benefit anyone which is why it ranks so high. Pazu s Favorite Hat
Pazu s Favorite Hat is a strong relic that doesn’t take effect until you choose to use it or if dealt a death blow. You can drop the Hat whenever you want to spawn five health orbs, this is useful for later stages when you need the heal or if you find a better relic and need the space. The other effect will kick in when your character’s health bar reaches zero. The Hat will be consumed giving you 25 health and spawns three health orbs. It’s a great second chance that can give you enough health to win the fight. If you have the Kali’s Flower Diadem in your possession the flower will activate first and then the Hat, giving you two chances to cheat death. Roxel s Pendulum
The Roxel s Pendulum is a straightforward relic that reduces all cooldowns by 8%. It doesn’t sound like much, but in extended battles this can dramatically improve your DPS and survivability. To get more out of this relic you’ll want to pair it with items that stack cooldown reduction like Chaotic Pendulum, Double Toil, Tozy’s Pocket Watch, Venture, and Tempo. If you plan on using spells with beastly cooldowns like Dragon Surge you’ll definitely want this relic. Armor Of Resolve
Armor Of Resolve is a nice relic that provides last minute durability to survive difficult fights. At low health the Armor will kick in to increase overall armor by 20% until the player recovers above low health. Granted this means little when facing a strong enemy that can take you from mid health to dead without ever putting you in a low health state. But when fighting groups or stubborn opponents that boost of armor can be enough to buy you time to deal the killing blow or give your health recovery efforts a chance to work. Vampire s Eyeglasses
Vampire s Eyeglasses are immensely powerful as they regenerate one health point for every critical hit you deal. With critical hit based builds this can make you nearly unstoppable, though there is a cap of five health regenerated per second. Items like Awe, Shift, Messy Prescription, Dark Katana, Analytical Monocle, Critical Placebos, Auditor’s Talisman, and Silver Spinning Top all boost critical hit chance. Perhaps the best item to use with Vampire s Eyeglasses is the Singing Bowl every seven seconds you don’t use Arcana you will deal a guaranteed critical. Pathfinder s Map
Pathfinder s Map does not provide you with bonuses whatsoever. But what makes it so incredibly useful is that it provides you with valuable information so you can choose which fights you want to have and when you want to have them. The Map will reveal the entire area and all the enemies located there. You’ll see where the dead ends are, which paths have tougher foes, and where you should go first. You can then methodically and strategically plan your attack giving you a better chance to survive and grow in power. Jade s Chakra Locket
Perhaps the most powerful relic in the entire game is Jade s Chakra Locket. With this in tow you’ll regenerate a point of health for every Chaos Gem you pick up. It also has the added effect of raising your armor by about 2% for each Gem in your inventory, though each additional gem you have will create less of a bonus. Jewelry Box will stack the health gain for each Chaos Gem, Messy Prescription will increase the amount of health restored, and Graduation Cap will increase the amount of Chaos Gems you find. Your only dilemma will be in deciding whether to use the Chaos Gems to buy more Relics and Arcana or keep them for the armor boost.
