NBA 2K20 Ranking The 10 Best Moments Of The Week MyTeam Cards
With the 2019-2020 NBA season in full swing, we'd like to reflect on some of the best Moments of the Week MyTeam cards in NBA 2K20. The MyTeam mode in and other titles in the series is awesome because it provides both historic and live weekly content. One of the neater card series is the Moments of the Week collection that brought new cards for the first 11 weeks of the season and rewarded players with high overall cards based on the best players of that given week. Players were rewarded for showing up and showing out for 7 days straight. Let's now take a look at the 10 best Moments of the Week MyTeam cards in and rank them from worst to first. THEGAMER VIDEO OF THE DAY Joel Embiid 94
The best thing about MyTeam mode for players like Joel Embiid is that injuries aren't a big issue. This means that a player as talented as he is can be used and appreciated on a much more frequent basis than his body allows him to do in real life. Embiid's knock has always been his availability, but, when he's on the court, he's one of the most versatile big men the league has ever seen. His 94 overall card for Week 8 of the NBA season comes with all of the typical center attributes, but also has a surprising of 82 from 3-point range. Kemba Walker 95
Kemba Walker has unfortunately been overlooked and forgotten about in the NBA because he's spent his best years playing for the Charlotte Hornets. Thankfully for him, the Boston Celtics were looking for a star point guard with exceptional leadership skills and Walker was looking to play for a contender. It was a match made in heaven, as the pair continues to flourish, and, specifically, in Week 8 of the NBA season, Walker showed the world he was as good as advertised. This 95 overall guard can score from outside and play-make with the best of them. Jayson Tatum 95
As NBA fans, we're less than a year removed from the Boston Celtics fan base questioning whether or not it was worth keeping Jayson Tatum when Anthony Davis was available on the trade market. These days the Celtics are championing Tatum as the future, and he's averaging career highs in every major statistical category. His 95 overall card is for Week 9 when the league started noticing his improvement, but, in just a few short weeks, Tatum would receive an even grander reward in MyTeam's Moments of the Week collection. Bradley Beal 95
Bradley Beal is one of the best scorers in the entire NBA but has the misfortune of playing for a Washington Wizards team that looks nowhere near contending. Thankfully for him, the focuses more on individual accomplishments, and, therefore, in Week 4 of the Moments of the Week, the game rewarded Beal with a 95 overall card that puts his scoring ability out there for the world to see. He also happens to be a better perimeter defender than you'd expect for a guy mostly known for his ability to put the ball in the bucket. Chris Paul 95
At the end of the 2018-19 season, it seemed as though Chris Paul was entering the fall from grace that many NBA greats deal with at some point in their career. He wasn't posting the same stats that fans had expected of him based on his track record, and it was unclear if it was him or the Houston Rockets system. In 2019, now playing for the Oklahoma City Thunder, it seems like his issues mostly stemmed from the Rockets organization. Paul has flourished in OKC, and his Week 11 card has astronomical playmaking attributes and outside scoring that average 95 and 93, respectively. Kyle Lowry 95
It still feels fresh and new to say, but NBA Champion Kyle Lowry is back to being the unquestioned leader for the Toronto Raptors after Kawhi Leonard's departure to Los Angeles. Since Lowry looks more like an uncle playing pickup and less like a starting NBA , people often disrespect his game. The guy's a solid all-around player who now has a 95 overall card that reflects the best parts of his game. Lowry may never posterize an opponent, but with his scoring ability and tenacious defense, he's more than capable of embarrassing someone on any given night. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander 95
Unfortunately for Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, until he establishes himself as a star player in the NBA, he'll mostly be known as one of the players the Los Angeles Clippers traded away for Paul George. He's currently making a name for himself with the Oklahoma City Thunder, as he's averaging 19 points per game and over 6 rebounds. His growth hasn't gone unnoticed, as he was rewarded with a 95 overall card for his efforts during the 10th week of the season. He's a solid scorer and has great size at 6'5" when up against other . Jimmy Butler 95
in many ways is the Philip Rivers of the NBA. He's an ultra-talented guy, but he has never seen any championship success and has a very divisive personality. Butler's a world-class defender that can put up points pretty consistently and has shown the willingness to be a team's #1 superstar player. His 95 overall Moments of the Week card for Week 7 is one of the better defender cards in the game, and, though not extraordinary, he has some solid attributes when it comes to scoring from anywhere on the court. Devin Booker 96
Imagine averaging almost 27 points per game in an NBA season, being the unquestioned superstar of your franchise, and not making the All-Star game. That's exactly where Devin Booker finds himself right now, but, unlike the All-Star game voters, MyTeam knows how to reward those who put in the work. Booker received a 96 overall card for the Week 10 collection of the Moments of the Week set, and he's an absolute game wrecker from outside. He sports a 96 for 3-point shooting, 98 for consistency, and a 95 from mid-range. Jayson Tatum 96
It's amazing what can happen when you remove selfish and toxic players from your franchise and let your young talent spread their wings. Jayson Tatum is currently flourishing in Boston and sporting career-high numbers across the board. He's re-emerged as an upcoming superstar, and the Boston Celtics putting a veteran like Kemba Walker by his side was brilliant. The best Moments of the Week card belongs to Tatum for his Week 11 performances, and it's a card that has a 96 overall, with elite-level outside scoring, athleticism, and perimeter defensive attributes. Yes, he's so good that we put him on this list twice!
