The Witcher 3 10 Characters Who Would Make A Better Empress Than Ciri
As much as we all love her, Ciri is unpredictable and over-adventurous. Could she really ever be a good empress? Here are 10 characters who could. It's no secret that Ciri (or rather Princess Cirilla Fiona Elen Riannon) is by blood the heir to a throne. The Cintra throne to be exact. It's also no secret that she is one of the strongest, good-willed, capable characters in the game. But let's face it. As much as we all love her, Ciri is unpredictable and far too adventurous. Could she really have what it takes to become an empress? Here is a list of characters who would probably make a better empress than Cirilla Riannon. THEGAMER VIDEO OF THE DAY Whispess
Hear us out. If you really think about it, Whispess of the Ladies of The Wood would make a great empress. Who says an empress has to be Chaotic good? We all know from real history to fantastical history that people of power are ruthless and tactical. Why Whispess you ask? Why not the one who concocts magical mixtures, or the one who creates art out of... Well, anything? That's elementary, Watson. As her name implies, Whispess is known for being able to hear whispers from all over the world... So long as she has the ears of someone nearby. She is known to be the most ancient of the three sisters and has the power to hear all from every nook and cranny. If Whispess wouldn't make a tactically sound empress, she sure as hell could be an informant. Dandelion
Who said the empress of Cintra had to be female!? Imagine the advantage . Dandelion has just as much feminine energy as the next. After all, that may be why he gets so many ladies. Let's be honest here, there are many different types of leaders and people of power. Whispess would be the one to crack the whip and gain respect out of fear. Dandelion on the other hand... Dandelion would be the kind of empress that has multiple scandals and many bastard children. And let's be fair... Dandelion has had his share of nobles and servants alike after his hide so it's safe to say he'd be used to the modestly corrupt noble life. Cerys An Craite
Cerys an Craite is a steadfast, strong, independent woman who don't need no man. Born being surrounded by men and growing up having to prove herself, Cerys has become confident and capable of leading and handling business. She would rise to the top, no questions asked, in her own unique way. Cerys doesn't ask for help, or try to become 'one of the boys.' She finds her own way to prove to everyone she's capable of that and more. Besides, what's an entire empire to a group of boys at the dinner table? Sarah The Godling
I don't know about you, but I want to see a land where a troublemaking child rules over all. What's a life well lived if you haven't had half your town sleep-dancing and the other half with nightmares because they didn't pay their taxes? All jests aside, from the quest Haunted House alone we know that Sarah is no stranger to controlling people. With a godling of that power under control of any lands, let alone Cintra, anything is possible. Being (or something of the sort) Sarah could have a regent to help her with large decisions that require her abilities. Tamara Strenger
Ah, Tamara Strenger. Her family quest happens to be part of the main plot and in it you get a good grasp of the women in the Strenger family. Strength, willpower and the need to do what is right while punishing the bad and satisfying the good. Though Tamara had her fair share of troubles with her father, her mother Anna took most of the blows. Through her mother's hardships and fight for survival, Tamara stood chin-up and protected her. Tamara's love and willpower to help and protect her mother at all costs show what a great leader she would be. She knows how to be smart and tactical for the benefit of others while keeping class and dignity in the face of adversities. Ves Of Blue Stripes
The second-in-command to Vernon Roche and the only females in the Blue Stripes comes off as stubborn and disobedient. These so-called "flaws" could be looked at as having perseverance and strong morals. These are important traits in a leader. Ves of Blue Stripes would tackle the male-dominated life of politics and walk with courage. She wouldn't be your average elegant noble that says what the public wants to hear while agreeing to protect the status quo. Ves would be that girl at prom wearing a short, puffy dress with Converse All-Stars, beating the boys in dance battles. Irina Renarde
Irina is an elegant lady made for the position of Empress of Cintra. Renarde has been leading her own little kingdom of theater kids and sideshow performers at The Butcher's Yard theater. She has been the star and the shepherd for as long as she can remember. Having already had experience handling social business within an organization while appearing agreeable and charming, Irina would suit royalty swimmingly. Tomira The Herbalist
Tomira is a healer and activist of many kinds. She seems to carry something deep inside her that she doesn't share and uses her skills of mixing herbs for good. On our first encounter with her in White Orchard, we get a sense of her clear-cut opinions and wish to make the innocent comfortable and free. This herbalist would be the kind of empress to go against ancient traditions to form new ones that can only better the peoples' individual rights and safety. She would have to face a lot of disagreements and tribulations with other kingdoms who refuse to accept her new way of life but she would have the people's hearts. Elihal The Tailor
The good ol' androgynous creature that is Elihal. When we first meet Elihal we learn quickly that he cross-dresses and is amazing at tailoring elegant clothing. But what we also figure out is how much of a smooth-talker this guy is. Elihal has an innate grace and way of making people open up that only the Empress of Cintra could have. He has his way of making people feel safe and in trustworthy hands, all the while making them question their sexuality. Maybe what Cintra needs is a beautiful, calming figure to guide them. Yennefer Of Vengerberg
Ladies and gentlemen, we saved the best for last. All in all, Yennefer would most likely be the best empress compared to Cirilla. All throughout the third game in The Witcher series Yennefer is mingling with political persons of power to work on her hidden agenda. She has become a close friend to many nobles and there's no doubt she can use these relationships to her advantage. While trying to get passage into the local city, Yennefer has already made it into the kingdom's castle. This proves that Yennefer has exactly what it takes to be a noble herself, as being an empress isn't just about looking pretty or controlling numbers, it's about being tactical within relationships. Being charismatic and guiding people without them realizing it. Yennefer knows how to keep people in the palm of her hand. Geralt can attest to that.
