Star Cards can make or break a Battlefront 2 campaign, so here are the best combinations that any gamer can use to ensure top performance. As DICE continues to update Star Wars: Battlefront II with more content, bug fixes and tweaks, it's wise to reconsider your Star Card loadouts to compensate for a number of balance changes to character classes and Heroes/Villains. Assault Smart Ion Grenade Toughen Up and Assault Training

Most Battlefront 2 players know how powerful health regeneration can be. Toughen Up and Assault Training grant the Assault an ability to automatically regenerate health alongside a health boost on kill. The real star of the show is the Smart Ion Grenade. This device works as a proximity grenade that can instantly destroy Officer turrets, shields, and heavily damage light-armored vehicles.

Heavy Survivalist Explosive Sentry and Improved Combat Shield

The Heavy class differentiates itself from the other main classes with its large sentry gun and higher health pool. Capitalizing on those abilities will allow you to take down infantry and vehicles alike. This allows you to quickly re-use your base abilities such as your shield, sentry gun and impact grenade, which is perfect for heavy firefights. Finally, Expert Weapons Handling has a direct impact on cooling states. When used with a TL-50, the Heavy becomes a resourceful unit that can sustain prolonged battles with an accessible list of backup abilities.

Officer Bounty Hunter Resourceful and Improved Battle Command

While every class can be specialized to earn battle points quickly, none can do it nearly as quickly as the Officer, thanks to the use of the Improved Battle Command card which increases the range of the ability, letting you earn more points. In order to make the most out of their cost, Reinforced Hull and Protected Critical Systems grant increased health and damage resistance, respectively. To capitalize on their firepower, Improved Weapon Systems can deal 40% increased damage. With this combination, most vehicles can take on Hero units with little challenge.

Bossk Ultimate Predator Predator Resilience and Multi-Traps

Bossk is a character that benefits greatly from the right Star Card combination. His signature ability is Predator Instincts, providing thermal vision and a powerful grenade launcher. Ultimate Predator will grant extended duration for each kill. You can also run Predator Resilience for damage at the same time, allowing you stay in the fight longer. When enemy Heroes oppose you, use Multi-Traps to weaken them and finish them off with your grenade launcher.

Kylo Ren Harsh Pull Closing In and Solid Freeze

Kylo Ren's Star Cards are quite potent, but he becomes a top-tier option if you run a specific load-out. Solid Freeze increases Freeze radius, allowing you to initiate Closing In, which increases the lunge distance of Frenzy. Harsh Pull can close the distance between enemy units and Heroes in the blink of an eye. Combined with his heath on kill passive, Kylo Ren can deal tons of damage while controlling the battlefield with Freeze and Pull.

Captain Phasma Easy Shots Safety First Come Closer

Phasma is already a phenomenal Hero to use in a battle, thanks to her deadly blaster rifle with night vision scope. This star card combo makes her even more dangerous. Easy Shots adds a small level of heat reduction to Phasma's blaster with each successful kill, while Safety First gives her a health boost when Survival is activated. Finally, Come Closer gives her shock droid a major boost in radius if she lands three successful kills in a row.

Anakin Skywalker Tenacious Pull Dominance Control The Force

A recent BF2 update to compensate for his overbalanced power, but he's still a force to be reckoned with. Tenacious gives Skywalker greater health to stay in the battle longer, while Pull Dominance increases the range of his Force pull. Control The Force rounds things off with a much greater Heroic Might radius that can clear the vicinity of enemies in no time flat. By sticking to star cards that don't drain his stamina, Anakin can use the Force more often, in addition to his inherent striking power.

DARTH VADER Bonus Health There Is No Escape Deflection Stamina

Vader has also recently been nerfed, but he's still a tank, and you can keep him fighting longer with this combination featuring There Is No Escape, increasing his lightsaber throw range. When coupled with his regular Force choke, Vader can cut down swathes of foes with ease.
