PRESENTED BY OMAHA, Neb. — The Florida Gators are the 2017 College World Series champions. It only took the Gators two games to take down LSU and win their first-ever title. A 4-3 Game 1 put coach Kevin O'Sullivan's team on the verge of the championship, then Florida sealed the deal the next night with a 6-1 game. The Tigers put runners on the corners with no outs in a 2-1 game in both the seventh and eighth innings, but the Gators got out of both jams and then broke it open in the bottom of the eighth with four runs.
