NBA 2K The 10 Best 3-Point Shooter Cards In MyTeam Ranked

The 3-pointer has quickly become one of the primary shots in NBA games. These MyTeam cards exemplify some of the game's best 3-point shooters! Over the last decade, the NBA has shifted to a game focused on the 3-point shot. The 2K franchise has reflected this and the MyTeam mode in features several living and past legends that were deadly from range. Some of these cards showcase a player's best season from the past, while others honor consistent careers that had these guys nailing long-range shots for multiple seasons. Let's now look at and rank the 10 best 3-point shooter cards in NBA 2K20's and see who reigns supreme from 3. THEGAMER VIDEO OF THE DAY

Tracy McGrady 12

Tracy McGrady is an NBA all-time great and was the basketball inspiration for an entire generation of kids. To this day it's still upsetting that the pairing of him and the Chinese giant and NBA Hall of Famer Yao Ming never won a single championship together. McGrady wasn't specifically known for having a solid game from behind the line, but he was known for scoring and putting up points any way he could. The guy was slippery and sneaky athletic, but give him enough room and you'll see firsthand the 96 rating from 3-point land that this card contains.

Stephen Curry 16

In his first 10 years in the NBA Stephen Curry is responsible for shifting the game into a more 3-point focused playstyle and has risen to the ranks of the league's all-time best shooters. For his career, he currently sits at an average of 43% from 3-point range and that likely won't change much in the years to come. There's already an argument to be made he's the best shooter ever and his only competitor is the 3-point shooting legend, Ray Allen. This 95 overall card of Curry is a and comes equipped with a 97 rated 3-point shot which seems a little low.

Peja Stojakovic 11

The Los Angeles Lakers were one of the most dominant teams during the early 2000s and because of this people often forget about how formidable the Sacramento Kings were during that same period in the NBA. The only thing standing between them and winning titles was the duo of Shaquille O'Neal and Kobe Bryant. Peja Stojakovic was a key member of the Kings and had a great career over 40% from 3-point range on average throughout his 16-year career in the NBA. No surprise his 96 overall card comes with a 97 rated 3-point shot.

Chris Mullin 92

Before the days of the Splash Bros. with Steph Curry and Klay Thompson, or even the runaway Warriors days with Baron Davis, Golden State had a superstar scorer that's often forgotten about. During the prime years of Michael Jordan, Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, and others, Chris Mullin managed to have 6 consecutive seasons where he averaged over 20 points a game. For his career, he averaged a staggering 38% from the 3-point line in a time where it was an afterthought and it paid off with his 96 overall card getting a 3-point rating of 97.

Larry Bird 87

It should come as no surprise that the Boston Celtics legend and NBA Mt. Rushmore member Larry Bird was gifted a 97 overall card with a matching rating from the 3-point line. The guy was a scoring machine and had a winning attitude and competitive nature that rivaled that of Michael Jordan. Bird was known for once declaring he would win the 3-point contest at the All-Star game inside the locker room before the event started. He may have been arrogant at times, but boy did he always manage to back it up tenfold.

J R Smith 14

There will likely never be another player in NBA history as inconsistent as J.R. Smith. He's always been the type of guy who was just as likely to drop 20 a game as he was to drop a big old goose egg. His card that makes the list is representative of his 2007-2008 season with the Denver Nuggets where he shot 40% from the 3-point line during the regular season which explains the 98 3-point shot rating the card has. That year he also managed to boost his scoring from 12 points to over 18 in the playoffs.

Mark Price 98

Most people outside of Cleveland who are casual NBA fans likely aren't familiar with Mark Price. Not only is Mark Price arguably the best player to ever put on a Cavs jersey outside of LeBron James, but he also managed to enter a select club of elite NBA players. He managed to join the 50-40-90 club, that there being a season in which a player shoots 50% from the field, 40% from the 3-point line, and 90% from the free-throw line. As a 2x NBA 3-point shot contest winner, the people at 2K honored Price with a 3-point rating of 98.

Klay Thompson

One might question how Klay Thompson has a MyTeam card with a higher 3-point rating than his teammate Stephen Curry, but it's only due to the card itself being a 97 overall. The Steph Curry card mentioned earlier in the list is a 95 overall with a 97 rating for 3-point shots, so if the Klay Thompson card was a 95 overall chances are his 3-point rating would be below Curry's. All that aside, Thompson is a deadly scorer who can explode for 40 point games like its a game at recess, and his 97 overall card's 98 rating from 3-point range proves it.

Dwyane Wade

Now, Dwyane Wade was known for his insane athleticism, speed, and grit on the court that earned him the nickname Flash, but was never known as a knockdown shooter. He could drain a 3-point shot from time to time but it wasn't what helped cement his legacy as an all-time great. The reason his 99 overall card has a for 3-point shots is due to it being reflective of him landing the cover for the legend edition of NBA 2K20. Their cover athletes often get some of the best cards obtainable in the game.

Ray Allen 14

It's only right that the MyTeam card in NBA 2K20 with the highest 3-point shooting attribute is Jesus Shuttlesworth himself, Ray Allen. He's the only card in the entire mode with a 99 rating from the 3-point line. The card overall is a 99 overall and is deadly from literally anywhere on the court. Allen made a name for himself as not only one of the most consistent and deadly 3-point shooters ever, but he came in and delivered in clutch moments in big-time games when his teams needed him the most. He's a living with a card to match.
