Tsumugi Shirogane

Tsugumi Shirogane is the actual main antagonist of V3 and gives a run for her money. Tsugumi plays the role of the ultimate cosplayer and comes across the group as a shy girl, but she was the one powering the killing game and even murdered Rantaro. Like other characters in the game, it seems Tsugumi's ultimate was fake, but she did have a real thirst for blood that caused many of her classmates to kill each other.

Korekiyo Shinguji

Korekiyo is a man who fell in love with his sister. She died, leaving him alone in the world, causing him to become a serial killer in order to send her new friends. Korekiyo is the ultimate anthropologist and has little to no understanding of human emotions regardless of his studies. In the game's third chapter, he kills two of his classmates because he thought they would be wonderful friends for his sister. Throughout the trial and even upon being caught, Korekiyo shows no regret for his actions.

Kirumi Tojo

Kirumi loves cleaning and has earned herself the title of ultimate maid. She excelled at her abilities to the point where even politicians wanted her to work for them. In the game, she is one of the most composed classmates and doesn't fall into panic easily. Sadly, Kirumi turns into the second killer after learning she is next in line to be the prime minister of Japan. She uses her superior cleaning skills to thoroughly wipe away the crime scene, almost succeeding in her goal to overcome the class trial.

Gonta Gokuhara

Gonta is a gentle soul who loves bugs and taking care of his friends. He tries to show his classmates his love of bugs several times throughout the game, much to their distaste. Still, he forms a strong bond with much of the cast thanks to his nature and makes fast friends with the protagonist. It's completely shocking when Gonta is revealed as a killer later in the game. As it turns out, though, he had seen something so horrible that he would rather kill his classmates than subject them to despair.

Kokichi Oma

Kokichi Oma acts in . He reveals himself to be the ultimate supreme leader and constantly antagonized his classmates, telling them that he is the evil mastermind. If you choose to spend free time with him, he will constantly tell you fabricated stories and then later announced that it was all a lie. Despite all the fuss that Kokichi made, he never actually harmed anyone. One of Kokichi's biggest character traits is the fact he loves soda pop with a passion and is often depicted in artwork carrying bottles of it.

K1-B0

K1-B0 or Keebo is a robotic humanoid who is forced to play in the killing game along with his classmates. Despite being made of metal, the robot is tragically weak. Both Kokichi and Miu take an interest in k1-B0 and wish to get to know the robot better. Keebo is thrown off and annoyed by Kokichi, but does end up forging a friendship with Miu. Like many robots, K1-B0 struggles with understanding emotions, and when Miu is killed, Keebo comments that he wished he could cry. His gentle nature, coupled with his patience, made him one of the most harmonious characters in the group.

Miu Iruma

Miu doesn't make many friends in the killing game as she's mostly rude to her classmates. She does, however, take an interest in Keebo, who she develops romantic feelings towards later on. Miu is extremely talented with technology and is given the title of ultimate inventor. Many of her classmates wonder just how insane Miu is, as many of the things she says are far from practical. Throughout the game, Miu's inventions help the class to progress; she eventually goes mad and tries to kill Kokichi, which ends in Gonta killing her.

Angie Yonaga

Angie is the ultimate artist and is also involved in a cult. Throughout the game, she works to spread the message of her religion until she ends up getting murdered by Korekiyo. She is one of the most upbeat members of the cast, even in the face of tragedy. This is likely because she believes she is an oracle who delivers messages from Atua. Angie's relative peace after the murders does disturb some of her classmates, but others like Himiko eventually join her in worshiping Atua. Angie does take over the class at one point instilling harsh rules and driving those not in the cult crazy.

Himiko Yumeno

Himiko is the ultimate magician, a popular Danganronpa character, and she believes that she has magical powers dubbing herself the ultimate mage. Her delusional personality eventually leads to her becoming friends with Angie. In chapter two, the friends work together to put on a magic show for the class. Sadly, this doesn't turn out as planned as they find their classmate dead in Himiko's tank. Despite looking like a murder suspect, Himiko manages to make it through the killing game. Although Himiko does lose more of her delusional side as the murders began to take place.

Ryoma Hoshi

Ryoma is the extremely cool-looking ultimate tennis pro. Throughout the game, Ryoma is quite depressed and, in the second chapter, allows himself to be killed by the ultimate maid. He is indifferent to the murders or the announcement of the killing game, allowing him to keep his cool when the rest of the class begins to freak out. It also revealed that Ryoma killed a criminal organization with his bare hands. This leads him to think of himself as a criminal and distance himself from the rest of his classmates.

Kaito Mamota

Kaito was an optimist, and one of the main leaders of V3 that helped finally track down the true mastermind. Kaito was kind and became close with Maki and Shuichi, with who he would regularly interact even outside of class meetings spurring a deep trust. In the game, . In order to save Maki, he ended up killing Kokichi leading to him being punished near the end of the game.

Maki Harukawa

At the beginning of the killing game, Maki tells her classmates that she is the ultimate child caretaker. Later on, it is revealed that she is actually the ultimate assassin explaining her cold nature. Despite having killed before, Maki refuses to participate in the game until she feels forced to Kokichi later on. At one point in the story, she even attempts to kill in order to save him. Maki becomes close to Kaito in the game and ends up falling for him. Her nickname in the game is Maki Roll, a play on the popular Japanese food. This lead Maki to be the most popular character in Danganronpa V3.
