Types Of Level Up

Various Daylife takes a unique approach by having you level up your character while also leveling your stats. You can improve your party members separately, so you'll have to work around that to succeed. You have standard levels in the game once your experience meter fills. Getting a standard level up will increase all your stats by a few points, so you'll naturally become better at everything as you fill that bar. You can only gain experience by completing assignments on the Job Board. While you naturally strengthen your character, you can also level your stats. Each stat in this game has an experience bar, when filled, you'll increase that area by multiple points. For example, if you increase your Strength from two to three, you'll get around 20 points added to it, giving you a significant boost. On the other hand, you can't improve your party members through experience. You must select the "Train" option in your home and pick a character. From there, you can spend some gold to power up the character and increase their level. Doing so requires tens of thousands of money, so you'll have to save up for them. If you want to improve your character and party members, you'll make it easier by taking advantage of the following tips.

Focus On Work

You must utilize the Job Board to improve your character as quickly as possible. Performing work lets you gain regular experience, stat experience, and money as you spend time doing it. You can perform assignments during the morning and evening, allowing you to grind quickly and get your character to the power level you desire. Before you start an assignment, you'll get an overview of what you'll gain from it. For example, if you do some Wolf Control, you'll gain HP, Strength, and Constitution experience. Jobs only take about five seconds to complete, so you can quickly get yourself to the level you want. You can also use the stats boosts to build your character around a specific class. For example, HP, Strength, and Constitution are great for the Warrior job and similar physical classes. Some assignments will increase the experience for stats while lowering others. Watch out for which stats they drop, so you don't lose progress on the areas you care about.

Get A Work Streak Going

If you perform consecutive assignments, you'll get a work streak. Work streaks multiply your experience gain by half as you keep doing assignments without taking a rest. You can maximize your time and efforts as you focus on your work and keep doing it. However, you risk failing your work if you keep doing it without resting. That means you must find a balance between resting and maintaining your streak. You'll lose your experience progress if you fail a task, so you have to play it safe. You should save before you try the assignment, so you can reload if you fail. You can enjoy different activities around the town to restore your Mood and Stamina if you don't want to rest and break your streak. For example, going to the bathhouse or spending time with friends can help you.

Check Different Activities

If you have excess money or want to focus on specific stats, you can run around and try different activities. For example, inviting a party member to an activity can give you a boost in your stats. The same applies to other options, such as going to the bathhouse, learning from Willa, and doing anything else you can do around town. Look at the choices, see what they offer, and determine if you want to spend your day on them. Activities always cost money, so you'll have to save up ahead of time. Also, other activities may cause you to drop experience in certain stats and even drop or increase your Stamina and Mood.

Utilize Rumors

Collecting rumors around the town will help you have discussions with people and improve your stats. For example, if you talk with the weapon shop owner, you could get a Dexterity bonus after talking with him. It depends on the discussion and who you ask about it. If you want to know what bonus they offer, you can hover over the option and check the bottom-left corner for information. You'll then get that bonus as a tip, which will last a few days. If you don't have any rumors, go to the bathhouse. Doing so will let you overhear conversations from other citizens to see if you can find any new topics.

Check Day And Night Bonuses

You'll see the day and night bonuses offered to your character when you enter your home. These bonuses tell you which stats will get a larger boost in experience and how much of a boost you'll get. These bonuses vary daily and at night, so you should check them before selecting a job. The extra experience will give you boosts for up to two stats. For example, one day may give you an HP and Constitution increase, while the next may have Dexterity and Intelligence. Don't worry if you don't check the bonuses beforehand. Once you click on the work, you'll see a symbol on the left side of your stat experience bars. The symbols indicate which ones have bonuses, so remember them as you choose a job to give yourself a large boost.

Tackle Expeditions

Expeditions are crucial in the game since you must go through them to progress the story. Doing so unlocks more party members and opportunities to gain different classes, giving you more level-up options. You can also use them to test your current strength and see if you need to grind. Expeditions offer you tons of money when you complete them. If you need a large boost in your income to level up your party members, you can't go wrong with Expeditions. While work can give you a decent amount of money, these adventures will get you more cash to improve your friends, so prioritize them if you want to focus on your teammates. Performing work will also help you build money for your upcoming job. If you don't feel ready for expeditions because you must strengthen your teammates, you can focus on assignments to get to that point. Leveling requires time, but you'll make it easier and faster as you utilize the right tips. You'll speed up the process, improve your character, and even get better party members. Ensure you focus a good amount of time on the work system to get that experience, make money, and prepare yourself for Expeditions. As you do so, you'll build a powerful character and take care of any monster or boss the game throws at you.
