GTFO Finally Gets The Heck To Steam Early Access Next Week

GTFO will be entering Steam Early Access on December 9, 2019. It seems like eons , but GTFO is soon going to be in a playable state. Developer 10 Chambers Collective has announced that its cooperative survival horror shooter will be coming to Steam Early Access on December 9, 2019. The developer states the game will likely spend a year in this state before going to full release in 2020. Throughout the course of this Early Access period, GTFO will be expanded with different environments, enemies, and objectives. Character customization is being touted as a feature for the future along with the expected gear and character progression systems. Apart from that, we only really have a trailer from the recent beta period to go off of. THEGAMER VIDEO OF THE DAY If you'd rather wait for the final release, know that GTFO's price will increase when it does come out. The currently has it listed as "Coming Soon," so we'll have to wait until next week to figure out its Early Access price point. Still, grabbing it for somewhat cheaper during development might be a good way to support the devs and improve the final product for when you do jump in. Announced in 2017, GTFO was notable for putting a curse word in its title. Developed by 10 Chambers Collective, the team is comprised of members from Overkill Software that previously worked on the Payday series. Heavily focused on cooperative play, GTFO seems like a natural evolution for these chaps. The main theme of the game is a kind of sci-fi/horror-esque atmosphere. Players will need to be cautious and solve different puzzles while surviving against hostile creatures. It's not aliens, per se, but these things clearly aren't human. The reason for the lack of information is that 10 Chambers Collective is making GTFO entirely through self-funding. Without support from a major publisher, the team has had to scrounge up funds from wherever it can. Going into Early Access is likely the only way that GTFO will actually be finished in our lifetimes. The premise is intriguing, though, so I'm willing to give this a shot. Be sure to keep an eye on GTFO when it releases early next week. Source:
