After getting involved with a plot to kidnap the princess of Alexandria he is drawn into an adventure that sees him and others save the planet from destruction. Zidane's Ultimate Weapon is aptly named the Ultima Weapon and can only be found at the later stages of the game on disc four. It is located near the fourth Dive Spot around the Shimmering Island during the Chocobo Dive side-quests. There aren't any bubbles to help you find it so using Dead Peppers will help identify where it is.

He is a reluctant user of black magic but his character develops into a brave fighter as the game's narrative progresses. Vivi's Ultimate Weapon is the Mace of Zeus. It can be found in the Memoria in Gaia's Birth Room. You will find it on the left side of the platform after climbing up the ladder. In addition, the weapon can teach him the Doomsday spell.

Steiner is the noble Captain of the Knights of Pluto whose duty is to protect Princess Garnet. He's the power character in the group and has two Ultimate Weapons in the game. One weapon is the Excalibur II which needs to be obtained by reaching the final dungeon at Memoria in the Gate to Space in under 12 hours. It's a difficult and tedious quest to undertake and it is much easier to get his second Ultimate Weapon the Ragnarök. The weapon can be obtained by taking part in the Chocograph side-quests. Once Steiner has gained the Sky Ability the team needs to make their way to the Outer Continent in the top right of the map and land on the island to collect it.

Freya is an old friend of Zidane's and a member of his party. She is a humanoid rat-type character that is searching for Sir Fratley her lost lover/partner. Her warrior class is the Dragon Knight and the lance is her go-to weapon. Freya's Ultimate Weapon is the Dragon Hair which can be found by following the Chocobo Mountain Crack side-quest. It is the third Mountain Crack and it is found by getting the party to travel south of the Forgotten Continent. A Dead Pepper is needed to open the mountain crack and gain Freya's ultimate weapon which can also teach her Dragon Breath.

Quina &ndash Gastro Fork

Quina Quen is a member of Zidane's party and is a Qu, a race of genderless beings that are capable of consuming everything. In battle, it consumes its enemies and learns their magic abilities to use. a skill that works similarly to . Quina's Ultimate Weapon is the Gastro Fork. It can be found by following the Catching Frogs side-quest. The quest can be started by seeking out the four Qu's Marsh areas found throughout the game's world as seen marked on the above map. The party needs to leave one male and one female gold frog in each area so that the frogs respawn at a faster rate. Once a total of 99 frogs have been found it will trigger a battle with Quale, the leader of the Qu, once defeated, Quina will receive the Gastro Fork. The weapon will teach Quina the High Tide ability.

Eiko - Angel Flute

Eiko Carol is a young Summoner that meets the party after she is caught by the party stealing food from the Dwarves' town Conde Petie. Her Ultimate Weapon is the Angel Flute which can be found in the Memoria area, in the Past Room, the game's final dungeon. Once the party makes it to the Past Room a cutscene will trigger showing the party a version of Alexandria. The party will now need to make their way to the end of the platform after the cutscene ends. In this area, one needs to continuously press the interact button at the left side of the room until the Angel Flute is found. It will teach Eiko Holy, Esuna, and Curaga.

Amarant is the big red-headed warrior that favors the claw as his weapon. Just like Zidane and Eiko, Amarant's Ultimate weapon the Rune Claw can be found in the final dungeon called the Memoria. It is in the dungeon's Time Interval room which has the stairs leading up the giant red eye. One needs to interact with the left of the area of the room to receive Amarant's Rune Claws.
