Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order 15 Things To Do After You Beat The Game

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order contains collectibles, hidden areas and other things to do after you beat the game. Here's our endgame checklist. The campaign has been met with high praise and rightfully so, featuring around 15 hours of content involving memorable encounters and unique settings it can be a bit deflating when the credits roll. A bit like Cal himself, you're left wondering "what's next?" While there aren't new planets to explore or any more traditionally structured content, the many places you visited during the campaign still hold many secrets to unearth and enemies to defeat. An abundance of collectibles, hidden areas, force echoes, and good old-fashioned lightsaber swinging should keep you busy long after the main storyline is finished, not to mention a few more challenges and extra options you might not have thought of, which can extend the game's lifespan! Updated on June 16th, 2020 by Derek Draven: As mentioned in our updated intro, we've added 5 new entries onto our list of things you can do after you've beaten Fallen Order. Mod The Game

PC gamers can extend the game's shelf life a while longer by taking advantage of the vast collection of for Fallen Order. Most are cosmetic in nature, and they change everything from lightsabers to character skins and outfits. While we've yet to see any truly groundbreaking gameplay-related Mod content, the door has been left wide open. In the meantime, you can enjoy decking out your character with some snazzy visual mods, including some nice Reshade lighting presets to add more pizzazz to the game.

Explore Previous Areas

Upon each visit to the various planets Fallen Order offers during its campaign, there's limited freedom to explore as you are guided towards the current objective within the context of the story. You likely encountered blocked passageways and unreachable routes along the way that require you to return at a later time after gaining a new ability or completing a story objective. If you've made it to the end of the campaign, those paths will now be accessible to you within the maps of each planet. With few exceptions, every area of every planet is able to be revisited, offering new missions and secrets.

Don t Miss The Venator Wreckage

The planet Zeffo features a large number of missions Cal can finish, including the Venator Wreckage. While most gamers have already stumbled upon this twisted mass of metal, few realize just how deep this particular rabbit hole goes. It's easier than you might think to miss a completely optional section of the Venator Wreckage. This area is entered through an exhaust port and includes a massive interior section that many gamers still didn't even realize was there. Happy hunting!

Harvest Seeds

Everyone's favorite charismatic four-armed pilot, Greez, has a green thumb both literally and figuratively. Part of the way through the game you likely heard Greez request that Cal keeps an eye out for plant seeds on his travels for the Mantis' terrarium. RELATED: Each planet hosts 2-3 seeds. If you plan on getting Fallen Order's platinum trophy and all achievements it's recommended to get started on finding these as soon as possible, since it takes in-game time for the plants to grow. Once the terrarium is complete and fully-grown you'll learn Greez's true motive for his collection.

Find BD-1 s Encrypted Logs

Cal can find a total of 19 encrypted logs for , and these are scattered across the various planets in Fallen Order. They focus largely on Eno Cordova's obsession with researching the ancient Zeffo culture. Finding all 19 logs earns you an achievement, but it's also a great excuse to do a little tomb raiding and venture off the beaten path. It's also a nice change of focus from galactic conflicts and the eternal struggle of Jedi vs. Sith.

Must Touch Everything

There are a few things that separate Cal from other Jedis in the universe that we've seen before; he has PTSD, he's Ginger and, most uniquely, he has the force ability to extrapolate memories from objects just by touching them. These "force echoes" are an integral part of the story and provide some of the most interesting bits of lore available within the game. These echoes can be found all over, with some of them being obvious and others being well hidden. However, most of them are equally intriguing. From cultural secrets to quiet moments, to acts of heroism, Cal is able to experience a wide range of emotional moments from others' lives and hear their voices through the force echoes he finds.

Scan All Enemy Types

You face down some truly intimidating foes in Fallen Order, from highly skilled assassins to the local fauna of each planet. Make sure to stick around after a kill and have BD-1 tag each enemy with a scan. Not only will you gain some valuable intel on Star Wars creatures you didn't even know existed, but you'll score an achievement, too. It's the perfect challenge for the completionist in all of us.

Get To Know Your Ship Mates

BD-1, Cere, Greez, and later Merrin are Cal's crewmates and confidants throughout Fallen Order, each imbued with a complex personality and backstory. While some important characteristics and pasts are fleshed-out throughout the campaign, there is still plenty we don't know. Some of these mysteries do actually have answers if you take the time to find them in the form of optional conversations. Any time you visit a planet or return to the Mantis it's possible to speak with your crew members if they're standing outside the ship. Cere mostly focuses on Jedi/Rebellion business but Merrin and Greez will sometimes give insight into their pasts and why they behave the way they do. You can even learn where Greez's home planet is and get a hint about why he hasn't gone back there in a long time.

Experiment With Your Combat

Beginning with only a single-bladed and the ability to freeze certain objects in time, Cal learns a whole host of skills throughout Fallen Order's campaign that build on both his force abilities and saber combat, but they aren't fully unlocked until just before the final mission. That said, there's likely a variety of enemies that you have only ever defeated one way. Wielding the dual-bladed, separable lightsaber you build on Ilum brings new ways to defeat the Empire's forces and hostile fauna encountered previously, making for great fun when revisiting old areas. Pushing basic Stormtroopers away with the force, pulling them towards you, impaling them with a lightsaber and other gained upgrades present you with a cornucopia of techniques with which to dispatch your foes. Crank up the difficulty for an added challenge.

The Resplendent Jedi

Cal Kestis was stuck on Bracca working as a scrapper for years, now that he's no longer in hiding there it's time for some new digs. Customization options for Cal come in four categories; outfits, ponchos, BD-1 skins, and Mantis paint jobs. These are all unlocked by finding the vast amount of chests scattered throughout the game's planets and offer a decent variety of color options for everything Cal sees a lot of. Outfits are basic and usually covered up by a poncho so there aren't many of them but color choices for shirts do exist. Ponchos come in two types: a plastic-like rugged material and a cotton-like fabric. BD-1 can also be painted in several selections of two-tone colors, many of which match with the Mantis' own host of styles. Keep it fresh by checking what you get every time you open a chest.

Customize Your Lightsaber

The craftsmanship of weapons has been a sign of status throughout time, expressing the wealth and nobility its wielder possesses. This is true in Star Wars with Jedis, most of all as their lightsabers are each crafted by their owner, with its various parts each carefully selected for a purpose. Since Jedi: Fallen Order is supposed to put the player in a Jedi's shoes, it makes sense that lightsaber customization would be a complex and integral part of the game. Not only can the player choose Cal's lightsaber blade color, but also the emitter from which its beam originates, the switch he presses to turn it on, and You can even choose the material from which these parts are made, affecting the lightsaber hilt's color and reflectivity.

Slay The Beasts

Each of the four main planets Cal visits in Fallen Order has a unique biosphere consisting of flora and fauna not seen anywhere else in the galaxy. Among them are four legendary beasts (one for each planet) that can be encountered in special areas and defeated only once. These beasts; an albino Wyyyschokk, a rabid Jotaz, a Nydak Alpha, and are upgraded versions of common enemy-types that present unique challenges and unparalleled stamina compared to their weaker counterparts. It's possible to encounter these mysterious creatures before completing the main campaign, but it's far less likely you will have been able to defeat them. It's best to hunt them down once fully-upgraded.

There s A Price On Your Head

The Haxion Brood is an intergalactic crime syndicate trading in various commodities and owning several gambling dens. Greez got into trouble with the group, amassing a significant debt in one of the gambling dens that the pilot could never pay back. This caused the Brood to place a bounty on Greez's head and all known associates including Cal. After Greez and Cere spring Cal from the Haxion Brood's prison arena, the Brood only intensifies its efforts to hunt down the Mantis and her crew in the form of several kinds of bounty hunters. Hiding out in areas of importance throughout the planets the Mantis has been spotted on, bounty hunters, droids and commandos are waiting to spring surprise traps on Cal should he return to certain places. Defeating one of each kind of bounty hunter will earn you an achievement/trophy.

Unlock Every Achievement

Everyone's got a completionist bug to some degree, and unlocking every achievement that Fallen Order has is definitely a good cure for that itch. This will take some time, patience, and fancy moves to complete, but it's far from impossible. There are 39 achievements in the game, some of which are mentioned on this list. Others include the obligatory quirky achievements, such as kicking a phillak that has kicked you, while others require some nimble footwork and Jedi mastery.

Become A Grand Master

You've finished the story, talked the ear off of your fellow shipmates, grown a terrarium, changed up your lightsaber parts, and decked out your wardrobe. What now? Well, Jedi Knight, let us see if you possess the might of a true Grand Master. That's right, abandon the and knowledge you've accumulated because it's time to return to Bracca and begin again, but this time with the gloves off. When the game starts put the difficulty to Grand Master and prepare to meditate often. May the force be with you.
